I know the biblical truth, Dan, and many others have already tried to show you the truth, unsuccessfully. I think you do know the truth, but don't like it, nor will you accept it.  God is Light, He don't lie, His word is TRUTH! When I read the article, I saw similarities to this thread, about taxes, land ownership and the lack thereof, who owns the earth and the land, paying for things that you think should be free, much anger at those who do own land, who make rules you don't like, etc, etc.  I assumed you would be able to pick up on that, and perhaps you did.  I don't understand your inability to grasp God's sovereign decree, His word, as it applies to the government's role in the country in which we live, so we don't have to live in total chaos. But that is everyone's privilege. Believe what you will. That is your right,    or wrong. Speaking of which. When speaking about God's chosen, Paul,  you might just want to learn a little "Fear of the Lord".

LAW or works of the law make distiction between what is right and what is wrong. It is the ONLY guide for man and comes from the HIGHEST AUTHORITY.

Paul does in fairness outline what this government IS that you are to submit too, he is wrong to make any commands to honor theft but his limitations haven't stopped most of this forum accepting something much lower in accordance to Paul's admission: people who are of God to lead those of God. He never got as far as saying if we are to submit to anyone lower than the highest authority...even at the cost of members calling my sanity, character etc into question.

People can and will accuse me or you of being satanic indirectly using scripture, or use scripture to scare me or you into conceding an arguement (many of the churches I visited used this method)... The joke is on them, now that anything written "isnt what is meant" or what is meant "was not scripture".

No I havent seen this until now and makes some sense from a historical point of view yes! But it is not based on scripture.

For a contract to be valid it has to be entered into freely without coersion... That part and some of the history follows...

However if you KNOW the governing authority ... they get your consent freely by your willing participation to use their market system and unit of currency.

If you use the government system you are automatically ok with swaping your GOD given rights for government priviledges and benefits.

You stop being man and are given a title (MR GARY LEE) for example..

You effectively choose government to replace GODS LAW with man made rules (acts statutes stipulations nuptials rituals the list is long...changes from season to season to suit Rome)

You lose the protection of GODS LAW as you now have given consent to be policed by Rome.

Dan, you are speaking of an idealist Utopian world in one where no government or ruler would exist.  A look back at Biblical history would show why our present government became into our society.  First there was God appointed judges and man rebelled because they wanted a king to rule over them.  As it is , it still stands as God has not revoked  that system of rule. It has evolved to our current systems, but still man choosing their king to rule.       

Even in a self rule system who would be the judge of morality and as we know from example today we have laws, but still need Judges to pronounce fair verdicts, though  there are corruption  there too.   But in principle you would always end up needing rulers as each individual would claim his rights and without arbitration then constant war, which also leads in to animal pack type mentality.

In a perfect world, yes no government would be needed as all would have one ruler and that is the King Of Kings and Lord Of Lords and each would indeed be his brother keeper.  Until then, we are in this systems of the different forms of governments, like dictatorship, communist and so called   democratic ones. Sin is still in the world and as we have a mixture of redeemed and lost souls , this form of government would exist until the trumpet sounds.
