Right - the Prophet.  That was a good book -- unique insights into the abortion industry and the pro-life battle.

Its the only one of his books my wife liked for that very reason. I personally liked his take on the demonic warfare.

Haven't read Peretti, but speaking of the 'spiritual realm' have you read the Book of Revelation?

Yes :) the Book of Revelation is a great read, and it really demonstrates the spiritual realm. I can’t imagine how John felt when all this was revealed to him, must have been both scary and awesome at the same time.

I totally agree what you said “I personally liked his take on the demonic warfare.”  I’ve found this  inspiring, how it portrays that we have the power in Christ to overcome the enemy and that God is in control and his plans always succeed. I’m getting allot out of reading these books.

OK… so The Prophet definitely has to be on my 'Too Read" list now :) . That sounds awesome too.

I just looked at Wikipedia and Frank Peretti has written so many, allot are for kids and teens, but I’m sure their awesome too.

I started Piercing The Darkness last night, and I’m finding it really hard to put down and I think it’s just as good as the first one I read.  I’m really enjoying how he intertwines the human and spiritual realms, the stories are fascinating.

His kids series was amazing. Honestly i think prophet is the only one i havent read. He co authored a book with Ted Dekkar, titled House that was pretty good to. He hasnt put one out in awhile though, been a bummer.

I'm with you Bell, I could not put down Peretti's book This Present Darkness.  It really opened my eyes into the spiritual realm.  I'll have to read some of his other books.  Oh, and welcome to worthy!

Peretti was my intro to Christian fiction and I have been hooked ever since. The only book I didn't enjoy was "The Visitation". Seemed to drag on in the opening and only seemed to pick up in the last 3rd. My favorite was "Monster".
