I agree. BTW, Canada is in this with the US. They have also had a large degree of Muslim immigration up there as well. Some enter the US from Canada. This is something our two countries need to work together on.

Tell me about it. I used to live in the Toronto area. It used to be considered a melting pot of cultures. Now it is just a cess pool. The town I lived in (Brampton) is filled with turbin type people. They gt 2 or3 families together in the same house and raid peoples garbage every garbage day and have yard sales every saturday. They are a resourceful lot. I'm trying very hard here not to sound racist, but Brampton was a peaceful farming community when I was a kid, now it's just a place where hate breeds. Too many cultures trying to be the top culture dog.As I stated before, they even convinced our RCMP to change their uniform rules to allow turbins. I wonder how many baseball caps you see the muslim police wearing.

Canada has more than 2 choices but our current government is only slightly better than the last government we had. Free trade is the worst thing that ever happened to Canadians ever. Well maybe not the absolute worst but it ranks up there pretty high. Our other choices for government have no federal experience at all so everybodys afraid to vote for them. So we continually get stuck with the lesser of two evils. Very much the same as the US of A

How many presidential campaigns, or primeministerial, that have been executed with dignity. None in my life time. Considering these people are supposd to be representing their respective countries, shouldn't they show a little class and refuse to stoop to name calling and sensationalizing.

As each day brings us closer to the day Christ returns, each one of the world government models seems to have less and less appeal. Personally, I think we are past the point of being able to restore any type of government to something that resembles hope in humanity.

The open door immigration policy started in the 1960's when Ted Kennedy was able to float a bill through that allowed more and more people in without being checked out first (ie-Ellis Island). In the late 1970's to early 80's an influx of people from Cuba flooded into South Florida when Castro emptied out the prisons and mental institutions in his country. Legally there's not a whole lot that can be done at the moment, but what it is going to take is Congress to "get a set" and pass an extremely tough immigration bill. Then get the Senate to pass the bill, which in turn will more than likely get the President's signature.

In the mean time watch around you, because it will happen sooner or later when we start having car bombs and the like going off in this country.

I saw on the local NBC news tonight that the terrorists in Iraq are complaining about their leadership being "indecisive" and "disorganized" in their planning. Gee, I guess our constant harrassment and raiding on their operations are taking a toll. So much for the quagmire theory.
