Is Scripture speculation?

“In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times.” (Genesis 6:4-6).

“Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels,” (Revelation 12:7-9).

Scripture isnt speculation.

Your interpretation is speculation. It doesnt match what the bible says.

God knows what their names are, even as God knows the names of his children, also called 'stars' in scripture:

Genesis 1:16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Psalms 147:4  He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Some star clusters are named in scripture itself.

Job 9:9  Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Job 38:31  Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Job 38:32  Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

Isaiah 13:10  For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Amos 5:8  Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

Revelation 1:16  And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Revelation 1:20  The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

its all speculation. these "false Gods" are nothing but images in peoples imaginations, created by satan. That is it. the old Gods of greece and rome, are long since "gone" as in absolutly noone worships them anymore. the only "power" they ever had, was what they imagined they had. Now, the false gods are things far more modern-such as social media, the LGBT community, etc.

It is foolish, to believe that these ancient idols have, or ever, had any such real power.

when there was a question about eating things sacrificed to the pagan gods, I do believe that Paul taught that they were sacrificing to demons and we should not have any part in that.      Those old Gods did have a spiritual presence on earth from the dark side.

I am going to disagree with you (in part), at least as far as I understand you, The Patriot.

Youtube: "The Replacement gods", Volume 1 and Volume 2 (by Little Light Studios).

The Anime (and worse), Video Game, Manga, Comic, Hollywood, Sci-fi (1 Timothy 6:20), and pagan religious worlds still very much worship the same false gods, and idols, even with some of the same names as historically.  For instance, Google: "Alan Moore", "Glycon", etc.

Im going to disagree, yes, ive seen some anime, and yes they do deal with mythology....but I also dont see anyone worshiping the gods in said anime shows, so your point there, is completly incorrect. Anime, in and of itself can be a false idol because many people do get so obsessed with the shows that they lose focus on the one true God (or never get sight of Him in the first place) but I have never seen anyone, who worships any of the "gods" in the show, they recognize that they are fictional characters, a fact that apparently, many christians do not even recognize.
