That is it. the old Gods of greece and rome, are long since "gone" as in absolutly noone worships them anymore. the only "power" they ever had, was what they imagined they had. Now, the false gods are things far more modern-such as social media, the LGBT community, etc. It is foolish, to believe that these ancient idols have, or ever, had any such real power. I am going to disagree with you (in part), at least as far as I understand you, The Patriot. Youtube: "The Replacement gods", Volume 1 and Volume 2 (by Little Light Studios). The Anime (and worse), Video Game, Manga, Comic, Hollywood, Sci-fi (1 Timothy 6:20), and pagan religious worlds still very much worship the same false gods, and idols, even with some of the same names as historically. Anime, in and of itself can be a false idol because many people do get so obsessed with the shows that they lose focus on the one true God (or never get sight of Him in the first place) but I have never seen anyone, who worships any of the "gods" in the show, they recognize that they are fictional characters, a fact that apparently, many christians do not even recognize.
