An Earthen Vessel

I'm just an earthen vessel
But I carry a great treasure
God's Spirit dwells within me
And my purpose is His pleasure

Although I often fail Him
When I call upon His Name
His Blood is greater than my sin
And takes away my shame

One day I'll live in Heaven
Where He'll dry my every tear
But till I reach the other side
I'll love and serve Him here
