I also believe the little horn represents the country of Israel and its government.

I believe the three horns it subdued represent Syria, Jordan, and Egypt which were soundly defeated in 1967 for possession of the seven hilled city of Jerusalem.

I believe this little horn (israel and it government) will persecute the saints in Israel for 42 months(a time, times, and a half)prior to Christ coming.

I believe Netanyahu may be the last but not because of the things you've stated. I believe Netanyahu will implement the mark of the beast. I believe Netanyahu the present king of Israel will seal his subjects just as Christ, the chosen king of Israel seals his servants.

He's been working on it for a while.

I also believe the sheep that endure the last 42 months before Christ comes endure a very troubling time in Israel.

Cashless society is developing everywhere during this pandemic. Slowly but sure, as prophesied in Rev 13.

Israel's begins when the second beast appears in Jerusalem. It will practice the authority of the Israeli government on its behalf. An army of gentiles provided by the king of the north.

That's true.   Here in the U.S. we now have a shortage of coins.   Never before has this happened.

They believe (At that time) means thousands of years after the previous verse?

Now don't you believe that's stretching things a bit? lol

And all this time I have believed that "the little Horn" was none other than the Beast of Rev. 13.

I pretty much agreed with him up to verse 36. I disagree that Daniel  was talking about a king of Israel. The entire chapter has been the "King of the North" vs the "king of the South."

On the other hand, I can't think of any other scripture where the Beast of Rev. 13 was called a King.
