Why.

Take a look at biblical Israel. What do you see?

A King, courtiers, functionaries, priests, administrators etc with under them foremen, team leaders, supervisors, craftsmen etc etc

under them skilled workers, labourers etc etc

All this as set up by God in the kingdom of his chosen people.

 

As Paul wrote in romens we are to pray for our leader/rulers giving revenue, respect, honour etc where it is due.

As citysens of a heavenly Kingdom our role is to live for God and to evangelise. Yes that means influencing society, but who is in control?

how you view the government is irrelevant, in Romans 13 and 1Tim 2 we are told to pray for the government. You may chose to disobey Gods command, remember the rulers Paul was telling Christians to pray for, were actively seeking there harm.

Of course you should pray for the leaders of this Satanic world.....    they are  humans just like the rest of us....    at least pray that they see who Jesus is and pray for them to turn from their ways and come to Jesus.     BTW the leader of the United States of America is not a person....   it is the constitution....

Paul gave us a command to pray for our rulers. He didn't say pray for the Godly rulers he said pray for our ruler.

You in not praying for them are disobeying God.

Praying that a government will exercise justice and have wisedom to rule wisely is not disobeying that government or signing a contract with the devil.
