The first church of gentiles was established by the invitation from Cornelius the Roman to Peter, Peter did not roam the street seeking for gentiles to preach lustfully, God sent gentiles to him.

Acts 10:19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”

Every nation of the world has citizens with different religions, the nations cannot function properly without inter religious tolerance among its citizen, radicalism like isis in Syria would only destroy one nation. Thats why governments allow worship places for different religions, they do not ban religion though.

Bible says we must obey our leaders: Hebrew 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Street preachers want people to convert, i'm not against them by all means, however,  we should note that our nation recognizes the rights of different religions and believers.

WHAT IF THE MOSLEMS ARE ALSO DOING THE SAME LIKE CHRISTIAN STREET PREACHING ON THE STREET, LUSTFULLY COMING TO YOU WITH SERMONS, WILL YOU TOLERATE THAT ? YOU ARE LUCKY THEY DONT DO THE SAME THING TO YOU, AREN'T YOU ?

Does it matter if someone hates us for preaching to them?

Should we keep silent about the gospel? Paul preached to the unsaved athenians, on the street. If its good enough for paul, if its good enough for the Lord (since it isnt spoken against in the bible) then its good enough for me.

There was no churches provided by the government there, do you want every christians to roam the street and knock every door ? Do you want the moslem to do the same thing to you ?

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

However much someone doesnt like it, the laws of the land permit them to do the same. The only way to counter it, is to spread the gospel.

If you believe you shouldnt spread the gospel, fine. That is between you and the Lord. I rejoice when I see Christians witnessing on the street. Some people will not hear the gospel if it were not for street preachers.

Acts 8, philip is told by the Lord to go to a deserted place (not a synagogue) and preach the gospel to the ethiopian sitting in a chariot. Street preaching.

Acts 17, paul preaches not only in synagogues but also in the market every day, and at the areopagus. Street preaching.

Street preaching is biblically correct as a method of spreading the gospel.

Two aspecs to this.

A street preacher has the right to address the public so long as he is not breaching the peace, causing an obstruction or being a public nusance.   The laws/by laws on these have to be obeyed.

2nd tolerance is a Christian virtue, in a world that rejects Christian morality tolerance is coming to mean' agree with me'

I agree if we share our faith we are going to be perscuated for it,  the book of Acts talks about the early church the disciples of Jesus were very perscuated for their faith in Jesus,  some of them even died but through the direction of the Holy Spirit they never gave up

You might not know there are friendly and respectable ways to make people come to church other than pointing your finger at people on the street uninvited and blast them with your forced lustful sermon. The picture below are all moslems (with veil) visiting churches, which make a mutual conversation and good relation instead of the picture of the street preachers who speak to the wind/ one way communication. You only make the gap wider instead of making a lovely bridge to the other religions.

Open air preaching or more generally sharing the good news of Christ with people in an open public setting has long had a place in the body of Christ.

In the Gospels and Acts time periods, it was common.   Jesus spoke both in synagogues and to crowds in open places.  Peter spoke to a crowd on Pentecost.  Philip spoke to crowds in Samaria.  Paul (and companions) spoke both in synagogues, private places, and in public.   In Athens, Paul spoke in both synagogues and the market place.   The good news was taken to wherever people were and might listen.

Throughout church history there are examples of many ministries where Christians spoke to crowds in public settings.  The early methodists (largely being closed out of established churches) preached open air.  George Whitefield alone was estimated to have spoken to millions of people over the course of his life.  William Booth took to the streets of London sharing the gospel with the poor and destitute in the streets.  Open air preaching of some form is often how many missionary endeavors first started in many areas of the world.  The style and way of sharing vary with the individuals doing it.

Our last church supported a missionary family in Europe whose most effective evangelistic ministry is open air preaching in crowds in big tourist areas.  They've seen hundreds of people per year who've never heard the gospel before come to Christ.  They do a combination of music, drama, speaking, sharing testimonies, and the like.  They usually do it in teams so there is a combination of public speaking and private discussion with those they meet.

It sounds like the main objection being voiced is an inaccurate straw man argument which characterizes all open air preaching as being highly confrontational "turn or burn" monologues.

Jesus told us to spread the good news but we should understand we are not sent as a robot programmed to speak to people.

Look at the picture below, this christian woman grab a moslem's hand on the street and preached "Jesus is the saviour would you believe that ? ".

Now look again at the background fulled with moslems, the whole moslem nation is angry for this intolerance behaviour because they never did the same thing, she is lucky the moslem old woman only smiled at her, she quickly disappeared otherwise she would be warned by the authority.

Can you find what i'm trying to say ? Its true how beautiful are the feet of those who preach if you do not violate people's rights by force. It can only create war and chaos. There are many friendly ways to introduce Jesus to people by first showing them kindness as per the above many pictures i posted, so you dont hv to provoke anger from people and government. Our main duty is to spread kindness, whether people want to believe or not its Holy Spirit works.

Otherwise we are only robots sent in a mission without humanity, driven by guilty feeling, not by compassion.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
