Well, I don't intentionally wanna mess with your head, or the thread either. Really though, some laughter about things can be considered good medicine, or so it's said. Whenever I leave our Veterans hospital here in San Antonio Texas, Military City USA, I am overwhelmed with a quiet thankfulness that I'm able to leave on my own two feet. No meds, no prescriptions, no gurney or crutches or wheelchair. Perspective. It's the little things.

That's when He showed me a man with no feet!" I saw this man several years ago, never have forgotten this. Once in a while, he comes to my mind. He rode by me on a skateboard....his only means of transport. He had no legs at all....no thighs even. The bottom part of him where one would normally sit was taped up all over with heavy duty silver tape! And there he went riding by me on the sidewalk, on that skateboard. He was on one of the poorer streets so I imagine he must live in one of those "hotels" that just rent out cheap rooms. So maybe say a prayer for him.... 2 1

As Christians, we have everything to be thankful for, because even in the worst of times God still has his best interests in store for us; "in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us." "You'd better hush, or I'll give you something to REALLY complain about!" Yes, bropro... we don't have to look far to realize how greatly blessed we are! \o/ You're right about that. All we have to do is turn on the news to see how blessed we are as Christians. Gary

I remember seeing it on the news but didn't know that anyone complained or that there was a rule change. Don't follow those kind of things very closely. Or this one... Butt Prints In The Sand One night I had a wondrous dream, One set of footprints there was seen, The footprints of my precious Lord, But mine were not along the shore. But then some stranger prints appeared, And I asked the Lord, "What have we here?" Those prints are large and round and neat, "But Lord they are too big for feet." "My child," He said in somber tones, "For miles I carried you alone. I challenged you to walk in faith, But you refused and made me wait." "You disobeyed, you would not grow, The walk of faith, you would not know. So I got tired, I got fed up, and there I dropped you on your butt." "Because in life, there comes a time, when one must fight, and one must climb. When one must rise and take a stand, or leave their butt prints in the sand." 1
