Could there be any doubt left that we are living in the last days? Fornication, drinking, and drugs were the norm before even high school (in the US) when I went to school. Christianity is illegal in what, forty -something countries? How many people have you witnessed to with success lately? No one wants to hear that Jesus loves them. No one wants to hear about God's forgiveness.

Would you believe when I tried to tell  two of my coworkers why strip clubs are bad, a fellow Christian approached us, and when I said, "Tell them how God feels about strip clubs," this "Christian" man responded with, "He loves them!" Can you believe it? If I'm trying to tell someone why looking with lust is bad and you are a Christian, you had better help me if you are in the vicinity. God will SO remember if you don't!

Even people who claim to be Christian are, pun intended, falling away. I had a girl at work come up to me and say, "I need sex," and when I told her that was sinful (she professed to be Christian) she said, "I'm in rebellion against my creator." She continued and said, "I want to do what normal twenty year olds do. Smoke, drink, and f***." But she's right about that being the norm! She even has a young daughter and all she can think of is getting wasted and giving her body to someone outside marriage.

Seriously, Second Timothy Chapter Three's description of the Last Days fits today's world like a glove. Christ could show up before you even get to the end of this post (wouldn't that be AWESOME) and I really think my generation may see His coming. I know generation after generation has said that, but I doubt previous generations could foresee what we see with our own eyes today. Can anyone really imagine it getting much worse? I mean I'm speaking from a pre-tribulation believer's perspective, maybe a post tribulation would in fact be just a touch worse (lol) but I can't be alone in thinking, "Lord, what are you waiting for?" Ya know?

I just had to get that for fear that if I didn't I would burst. Please keep me in your prayers prayer warriors, pray I don't have to put up with Second Timothy Chapter Three kind of people!

Thank you for listening and thank you Heavenly Father for being their to carry me away from sin in your arms! Please send Jesus to our rescue soon, nevertheless, let not my will but yours be done on this matter, Father!

I definitely think we are living in the very end times.

2 Timothy 3:1-9

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

I want the Lord to come back this very hour

A very good friend and I speak often about longing for the day. We must continue to occupy till He comes. All must endure faithfully to the end, and hold on to our great hope. The Lord will sustain us.

I am always confused when people say that we are living in the last times because things are worse than ever. Christianity was illegal everywhere after the Resurrection.

Have crucifixions been outlawed? What about gladiators fighting to the death while people cheered? We have become more respectful of human life.

The Bible had to instruct  men not to have more than one wife, something most men now would agree is immoral. Group sex was  viewed as normal. Women and minorities were treated much worse in ancient times, and kids were sacrificed.  I think in some ways we have become much, much better.

Yes, ...we are the generation that has seen the Fig Tree bud, throughout the OT the Fig Tree is the national symbol of Israel, and we are the generation that saw the Jewish people given back their promised, rightful inheritance from God on May 18, 1948, ..to add to what has already be quoted from the NT, there are the prophecies of Ezekiel 38, Isaiah 17 and Zechariah 12 playing out right before our eyes, and..., Putin, Erdogan and Rohamani were just in Syria discussing their invasion of Israel.

A very perceptive answer! You have given me good food for thought.

That actually makes me feel very blessed, you may well have given me the answer to my internal struggle as a Christian.

Good post but we are no more evil then sodom. They wanted to  rape Angel's. But its so bad. Worse then a lot of generations. We need to be Gods light. He needs us to show how he is. That girl needed to really receive christ. She was not saved. But was deceived. Pray God comes soon. The more we pray the sooner Jesus will come.

Here are some links:

Understanding the Times Conference, I know you will like it and your eyes will be opened to just how close we are to the Rapture of the Church, ...I'm watching it now and I'm at the 5 hour mark.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
