People wonder why God eliminated it in the OT, instead of just accepting it as some sort of "civil right"..... And the reason is,  Homosexual desire, is a spiritual infection that plays itself out as a sexually depraved lifestyle.. So, God in the Old Testament, on 2 occasions, kept this infection from spreading by doing what He did .   

its more then interesting to note that the main "sign" concerning the 2nd Coming of Christ is that the world will be similar to " in the days of Noe", or "Noah".......... In other words, sexual depravity will be WORLDWIDE  accepted and promoted by the Media and in general it will become normalized as if its a legitimate sexuality..  Co-equal with heterosexuality.

The New Testament defines this time as the time when "strong delusion" has taken hold of most of the unsaved, across the world.

I agree wholeheartedly agree with what you are saying. I think that homosexuality is most particularly onerous to God because it attempts to corrupt and make mockery of the very most important aspect of Creation. The spiritual type and reality of a man and woman (husband and wife) joining together in love to procreate depicts a much higher reality of God's 'Eternal Purpose', which is to pro-create. To share His very 'Being' with His creation.

Christ and His Church. Genesis is a picture and a forerunner, so to speak, of this. Its all there.

The enemy knows this and hates it, because he realized at some point that Man was to be greater than he is. This is what fuels his hatred and the core of everything being played out. This is worth thinking about.

Jesus said something interesting., as usual, when He told the Pharisees,  """"" you are OF your Father the Devil, and the lusts of your Father you WILL DO."""

And that is a blanket statement regarding unregenerate mankind's manifestation of Sin.

Satan's nature is lust and hate and envy.  SINNING, is the Devil's nature.

The lust of the Devil, is the sin of mankind in action.    Sinning is committing the lust of the Devil, as sin is his nature, and the unbelievers are his spiritual children,  manifesting his nature as their own.

The Adamic Nature, is actually the fallen nature of Satan and that is why the born again are become "new Creations", that have been " spiritually circumcised without hands", as Colossians explains it.

Satan is the "god of this world" and The Born Again are "Children of the LIGHT" who are no longer a part of this world.. We are become a part of GOD's Kingdom..........having been translated into it, through the Blood of Jesus,  from the literal spiritual darkness that was our previous realm.  This is why the New Testament tells us we are IN the world, as the born again, but not OF IT.

Mankind had an appetite for doing wrong as the fallen holy ones knew, and so today, we see an upsurge in these nefarious practises.

This seems to have begun in Nazi camps (steeped in the demonic). The US was very quick to grab many of those scientists that should have been at the Nurmburg trials and give them a job, a free pass and citizenship. Many have been the reports of various breeding programs in secret here. It is not new. In order to make it 'acceptable' to the masses, news has been leaked of these 'new' experiments and abilities. Thus they lull us all with a sense of security which is anything BUT secure.

Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

The Lord makes no mistakes in the womb. Each baby is born according to God's plan and purpose to fulfill His will, plan and purpose. Even though many times we will not immediately understand why?

Why am I bringing all this up? Because it's here and taking place right now; man playing God. Run a Google search on "Designer Baby's" and see what pops up. Altering the genetic makeup of a child the way and looks you want it to be. Another selling point is removing paternal genes passed down that have the potential to develop into disease down the line. 

What's your view; a scientific medical miracle to be embraced, or a slap in God's face and that He doesn't know what He is doing?

I Just watched a video on savants, in the world of designer babies, they would not be born and be able to give their gift to Humanity which God has granted them.

Yup.

Sure enough. I like to think of salvation as relocation. It can be a helpful illustration.

Picture a tree whose roots were once planted in the earth and whose branches and leaves are in the air.

Then picture that same tree being extricated from the earth and planted firmly in the heavens with its branches and leaves still in the air.

The source of and our very Life has changed....much more can be considered with the illustration.
