i am confident of my salvation now since learning about what true repentance means

i have zero ability to share the gospel as i am only now learning what the actual good news is can you believe that! i have been so blinded and for so long.

other than this i am clueless as to what ready is i dont mean in the worldly sense ie panic buying etc..

oh sure i will have doubts especially when folk try to tell me different a worldly view of repentance- aka rcc and then subsequent churches imo.

You should not worry about your ability to witness to others. Perhaps in the future you will be more comfortable with this. God has an abundance of mercy and grace.

Rely on the Holy Spirit to help you in witnessing. Whenever I witness I pray that the Lord give me the words and open them up to gospel message. If I had to rely on myself alone, then no one would hear my words.

As far as being ready, its just a continual walk with the Lord, in growing in faith.

Jesus is true light for world, you need not sending worldly messages after you know him truly, beware of those who have no faith in their hearts because they are like as if they have minds only, all the world was put in evil one, so they work according to world nature, don't be one of 'em, beware of that.

One way to Jesus,we can only know Jesus if we realize He died for us on the cross, all other ways are sinking sand,no Allah or Buddah or any other religion can save us,only a personal relationship with Jesus .

Mabel, you probably are ready right now. If Jesus came back today I'm pretty sure you'd be going with Him. I read many of your posts and I hear a young woman with a real love of God. In many ways you remind me of myself when I was younger. I was never very good at "witnessing", I'm still not. But I used to fear getting laughed at and now that's gone. Now I'm bold but I still don't waste my time trying to tell people about Jesus when I can sense they just aren't interested.

I don't know your age but I think you're under 30. More importantly is how many years you're saved. I'll guess that number is under 10. All of us true Christians grow and change as we go through life as believers. You probably think you're not ready because you haven't grown to the point where a person saved 30 yrs is. But how can you be, you're not saved that long yet. God knows this, He knows better than me or you.

Mabel, don't worry of how to witness, let your life be your testimony, pray for your loved ones and ask God to let you know of when to speak to them,He will give you the right words, when you start praying for them,God will prepare their hearts to listen to the good news messages,Jesus still saves...  And He hears you and knows your prayer even before you say the words :)

@existential mabel

The heart that desires Him God sees...

There’s a lot of good advise on this thread from people who’s hearts are after Christ, and you. Be blessed as you continue to learn of Him....... My words  of encouragement for a heart like yours would be, to, “fear not, for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom” and with that teach you all you need to know.

Be blessed as you, me, all who’s hearts are after Him, as He feeds and causes growth.....

i understand now why having a personal relationship with Jesus is  Prerequisite and imperitive  because of all the wolves out there and then also the decieved folk and my mission should i choose to 007 is to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and be led by the Holy Spirit and maybe once i can get a handle on the biblical truth and can see it then...

cough sneeze .. much coughing...urm.. bit older than 30 lol! but i am young in the Lord that much you got bang on the 10 years!

i have a quiet voice and folk keep saying pardon or most likely pretend that they can hear me! also people quite often irl invalidate me or i get too contentious!! so not a good mix at all!! but i am repenting as in changing my thinking about this i cant turn away from it as its ingrained and that only reinforces my handicap as i think oh dearie.

wheras if i think..' Mabel it would be a good thing to change this,' but i am not going to beat myself up as plenty of other folk do that! metaphocially  that is!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
