All of them at one time, and some were not ungodly at all. Some legalists in the Presbyterian church were at several of us to cut our hair and throw out all those worldly records. We complied with that, but some of my albums had hymns on them from groups like The Byrds and The Grease Band. There was one also one by Joan Baez, that had several hymns on it. So, I wish those hadn't been tossed out because they're now out of print. I also had a double LP from Donovan, and it was only folk music. I miss that one especially, you can't find it anywhere. I highlighted this because there is something that needs clarification. Just because one possesses something ungodly does not affect our salvation. Occult items should be destroyed, of course. Especially if witchcraft was a practice. Items such as these are evil and have no place in the home. Yep . God gave them the total heart change , just as He bids lambs still to Continue IN HIM and flee all appearance of evil . For as paul knew by grace , sin will surely harden a heart and thus to daily exhortations of let it not once be named still carries on in the lambs today . For it is the working of the SPIRIT to keep the lambs safe and to continue on IN CHRIST , faithful to the end . YEP the work of the SPIRIT that works through the members would exhort one another , let it not be once named among you as becometh saints . How it would remind the lambs daily to behold both the Goodness and severity of GOD . How the HELPER would truly remind all to keep the original pattern set before us BY CHRIST and the Apostels and lambs would love and cling to that pattern , knowing it is truth , and thus let not the original approach and attitude of what Christ and the apostels be taught , be altered even a dot . That is the work of the SPIRIT and thus let all HEED the SPIRIT . And if any man , woman , child has altered in any way from that original GOD given and instructed pattern , let them flee that which is contrary and feast daily on bibles . My pastor says, "Desire is always stronger than intellect." We can "know" in our heart what is right or wrong, and make a decision in our mind to not do it, ...that is our intellect, ...but the desires of our heart are always stronger and will win out every time. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Jas 1:13-15 If we submit our lives to the Holy Spirit, ...give Him total authority over/in our lives, ...He will make sure we don't "fall" into sin, ...being tempted by/from the desires of our heart. If we grant to Him His rightful place of sitting on the Throne in our hearts, ...our "desires" will be overcome and the "inside" of the cup will be cleansed, ...because; God cannot be tempted!
