The fear surrounding coronavirus dwarfs the disease itself in magnitude and malignancy.  We are currently in a mass withdrawal from civilized society.  Gatherings of all kind are being cancelled.  People seem to be hoarding essentials and hiding in their homes.  Is this any way to live?  Is this really living at all?  Will churches disband in fear as well?

I feel that God will choose the time of my death in this world, and I will never truly die anyway.  In Jno 11:25-26, Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life. He that beleiveth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.  And whosoever liveth and beleiveth in me shall never die.  Believest thou this?". Martha believed Jesus.  Do you?  Then cast away your fear and live as God intended you to live for as long as he wills your stay in this world.

God doesn't want us to be stupid.  He wants us to live wisely, prudently, and with reasonable caution.  The entire book of Proverbs teaches this.  Eph 5:15-18 says "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise.  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is".  Redeeming the time means using it wisely, not cowering in fear.

Fear is a mind and soul killer.  Here are some verses about fear:

In 1 Jno 4:17, the apostle says, "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment.  He who fears is not made perfect in love."

Isa 41:10. Fear thou not, for I am with thee.  Be not dismayed, for I am thy God.  I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee yea.  I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Psa 23:4.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod, and thy staff they comfort me.

Believest thou these things?

It definately is the illness of "fear". Satan is loving it. The terrorists now know one of the things that can stop this world from functioning. Taking down our computer system is another.

We're not really going to have to do this for an extended time...   maybe we should just go on about our business and let those that die, just die and get on with life...   or without it in some cases.

I news report from some Hong Kong doctors that have been following up on some of the survivors of covid19 and it seems that 9 of the random 12 they picked out had suffered damage to their lungs and other organs.....

We are not sure exactly what all this virus does to people....   time will tell, but it would be a shame if we found serious long term problems that could have been avoided.

Oh well........

It's natural for people to fear.......I don't want to judge or condemn those who are afraid, especially the lost.  And God can use this to wake up and teach people that He is to be feared.  For those who belong to Christ the way to peace is the admonition God kept giving to the Israelites....to remember and remind ourselves of how He has worked in our lives in the past, the miraculous things He has done and is able to do.  Beginning with the miraculous way He saved us and then how He has quietly brought us through the things we have gone through and shown Himself faithful.  He is able to make a little go a long way, He is able to keep us any way He wants, as we turn to Him and look to Him and ask.  He is able to quietly deal with a little virus if we catch it, but even if it's our turn to go, then we can remind ourselves that closing of our eyes on this life just means we are opening them in heaven.

If any are afraid or having trouble coping with this situation, we can bring it to the Lord and ask Him to give us His peace, and He will.  Cast our cares on Him, for He cares for us....He does, and He remembers with compassion that we are but flesh and can do nothing, nor have peace or faith nor anything without Him, and that is exactly the reason we come and seek Him for anything that we lack and have need of, because we have it not of ourselves....and He will give it liberally without upbraiding.

When adversity comes in any form we can humbly accept it as from God's Almighty sovereign and providential hand....bow down and humble ourselves under His mighty hand, and in due time He will lift us up.

Apparently I did not stumble across this meanderingly and also blind. I was drawn to this specifically for a purpose. The coronavirus is not all that much of a concern other than a major inconvenience. What you've written here speaks to something else all together, and it is substantially important at this point in time. Thank you.

you shouldn't be bothered by this virus unless people come to visit....    You may be in one of the safest places in the country...    I really do hate those dirt muddy roads...    I spent the greater part of many summers on my grandmothers dairy farm....   wasn't so far away from Civilization, but the quagmire I understand....   I'd simply go nuts without a tv though...   would have to get Direct TV at whatever cost.      When I was 25 I would have loved to be where you are....    but at 72, I have too many physical problems to be that far out....

God bless you for being there for the Lady....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
