Why do you think this isn't serious?

Have you looked at global graphs and figures over the past 4weeks, and the mortality rates?

Compare mortality rates compared to the flu. No one panics during flu season.

They've closed up all dine in options, movies, etc in my area - you can get food for pick up only. Limiting gatherings to 50 people or less.

*looks around*

I've never been so afraid of my own hands in my life.

The problem is getting food.   I am about out of food and planned to go to the market later today.  I have a 90 year old, diabetic mother that needs food...plus myself.

Our mayor has also ordered restaurants to close starting now.....except for take out and delivery orders!

I suppose this comes as no real shock after the State put our facility into lock-down quarantine.

Grubhub.com connects you to all the major restaurants and fast food joints. But it's not free.

Concerning, but I'm not frightened of dying by any means. I'd rather not suffer needlessly though.

Here's a thought pertaining to Marshall Law, isolation and enforcement:

The percentage of law enforcement and the military whom contract any virus or biological agent; will most likely be higher than the general public, due to their close knit contact and close quarters. If our government can't handle a crisis such as this, because a large percentage of enforcement is contagious and / or out sick; whom will? Would the U.S. invite and call for the assistance of the United Nations and U.N. troops on our own soil?

Calling up the National Guard for pandemic control, enforcement, riot control, looting, etc. National Guard troops have wives, children, parents, brothers / sisters and grandparents too. Would they walkout on their responsibility to them over their orders to mobilize for deployment, forsaking their families? Unfortunately, we may shortly find out the answer to those questions.

I pray this doesn't happen but, given the history of 'the city of angels', I'm surprised rioting and looting by the gang-banger's, druggies and general criminals hasn't occurred yet.

Grocery stores are now limiting their hours.   I went to the crowded market yesterday, neighbor took me.....shelves empty or hardly any food on shelves.   Some food I had was confiscated at checkout (even though there were no signs limiting how many you could buy).   So I came home with very little food....six frozen dinners (for two of us), crackers, cream cheese, almond milk, cookies and cat food.

Went to the nearby Asian restaurant last night, got three to go dinners to last us a couple of days, so spent $25 again.    A neighbor today bought us a Subway Sandwich since I am a senior citizen and not supposed to go out.   But I will have to go out at times for food, and to get cash to reimburse neighbors.

I never have used Amazon.   A friend offered to buy us some supplies but I heard Amazon leaves packages in the lobby....this is a 74 unit building and sometimes things used to disappear.   I might ask a friend to order a few things for us....she has a home, to get the package.   Maybe her husband would drop some stuff off for us.

 I wonder who is really behind all of this panic? Is it political? Are they going to close down the grocery stores so people will starve? Are they going to close down the pharmacies so people can not get their medication? They are acting this like some kind of very serious disaster like a serious solar flare or EMP. It isn't.

The grocery stores are practically closed down now....food is very scarce here.

I'm praying for you and your mother, @Debp. So many are in need and the rising panic doesn't help matters one bit.

Thanks Dusty, appreciate it.

Food is a necessity so that is what makes it harder on us.   I don't drive anymore to drive to many markets looking for food.

Thankfully my mom gets Meals on Wheels (lunch) five days a week.   I tried to get them this a.m. but they are bombarded with applications now.

Tracking Your Order

You can track your Amazon order in Your Orders. If you need more detailed help with tracking your package, please visit Track Your Package.

Estimated Delivery Windows

You can learn more about Estimated Delivery Windows here.

Delivery Information

If no one is at the address when delivery is attempted, we will leave the package in a secure location. If no secure location is available, or the delivery requires someone to be present, Amazon will send an e-mail to the e-mail address on file. We'll make three delivery attempts on consecutive days. If the third delivery attempt is unsuccessful your package will be returned to Amazon for a refund.

You may find that the tracking will sometimes show that a package has been delivered, but you haven't received it. In these instances, check to see if the package was left with a receptionist or neighbor. Deliveries can occur between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. local time. To avoid disturbing you, our drivers will knock on the door, ring the doorbell, or directly contact you for delivery only between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm local time, unless your delivery is scheduled or requires a signature. For scheduled and signature deliveries, our drivers will place a call to the phone number you provided for your order, but will not attempt to deliver the package outside the time frame of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. unless they are able to reach you. You can visit Find a Missing Package That Shows As Delivered for more information. If you checked these places, and you still can't locate your package, please contact us and we'll be happy to look into it for you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
