Doctors and nurses are praying!

I saw on the news last night about a group of doctors and nurses praying on the roof of their hospital.

So far I read about doctors and nurses doing this in Florida, Tennessee and Georgia.   I would think many others are praying, too, during this crisis.

Also, I just saw a multitude of videos of them praying, reported by the news.   And of regular people surrounding hospitals and praying for the staff.

Have you heard of this or of other areas doing this?   It is encouraging that they are crying out to the Lord for help.

This is what the world needs more of, praying to the Lord for help and not humans trying to fix the crisis themselves.

We will keep praying for more of the world to turn to Jesus.

A lot of doctors and nurses have gotten this virus because they have been exposed to it so often.

Is this something new? I know my child’s doctor insisted that I pray when my child was sick. When I went to the doctor for a condition years ago I was encouraged to have faith and pray.

I’m not sure what religion Dr. Oz is and I don’t watch his show but I remember him saying that when he did heart surgery all of the doctors understood that the heart was a spiritual organ and someone else was in the room with them during the operation.

Why is this important? Any Christian can pray at anytime they want. You don’t need a school or college for that. Yes, it would be great if everyone believed and everyone wanted to pray, but that is not the case and that has no effect on whether or not Christians can pray.

And what about kids who are of different faiths? Which faith becomes dominant at a school? What if Muslims want the school to recite prayers to Allah and everyone else join in?

Also, did Christ pray in public or alone?

We pray but, of course, we should also follow the guidelines the doctors are telling us to follow.     The Lord can and does save people from all sorts of things, but He doesn't want us to be foolish in our choices.    We should use wisdom.

WONDERFUL .    you said exactly what was needed to be said .   that we will keep praying for more of the world to turn to THE ONLY BLESSED HOPE THERE IS ,  KING JESUS .
