There can be no discussion with someone who has their mind already set  and refuses to even consider what someone else is saying. 

 

Im not here to debate, as i explained.   I just respond to questions and i respond against any theology that castigates the Blood Atonement.  And i do this for the benefit of a new believer who might be reading what is being said today, and could be harmed by it.

Ha ha ha. The lord has a wild sense of humor. Now we have people who want to argue over what a debate is.

Those that can, do. The rest teach. The few remaining argue about what the 'teachers' say or mean... ad nauseum!

This is not about our being right or wrong but about God being true and every (every) man (or woman or child) a liar. Romans 3:4.

Yes we have built in / onboard fruit inspection devices in our psyches... and we are required to discipline them in the Lord and use them as best we can... 

but human wisdom (so called), human understanding, human knowledge and experiences are all to be called into question and are suspect to deception 

of ourselves and others. In just the simple truth about right or wrong (or truth itself) humanity has bitten off a bigger bite that it can chew!

It takes omniscience to perfectly make the ultimate judgement call in all things / every situation.

And we ain't omniscient.

Only God is.

New around here, but not new to forums so I am of a similar mind as to what the OP states. I've been in long YEC/OEC/TE debates over the years and know full well that the participants are rarely going to change their minds, but I have had the occasional input from those lurkers who have appreciated the discussions.
