However, those that do not accept and receive the free gift of God's Salvation, must be "separated" from God, ...oh, ...they can leave the Lake of Fire, ...just as soon as they pay their sin debt in full, ...seems like I've heard some church teach that... May I suggest you consider how you look at eternal life/death? Life is through Jesus Christ Death is rejecting Jesus Christ, or following Satan. Eternal life and eternal death, to me, means it will not change. You are either forever alive or forever dead. It will be fire that burns you but does not consume you. Im new in the faith and even I know that! Ahem, hell is an eternity unlike ours in paradise via Christ (Revelation 21:1-53), it says of the devil’s eternal experience, “And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10). Pay attention to the word torment, “Greek word βασανίζω, basanizó, bas-an-id'-zo, which means to torture. To harrass, inflict pain, of body and mind.” God isn’t going to give the devil an easy end, snuffing him out of existance, but rather torture for eternity, never ending pain and suffering. Our enemy who torments us and inflicts pain in our lives will reap infinite what he has wrought. Satan will long to die in his torments in hell, but he won’t. He will never be able to die to get out of his tortures.
