It's dangerous, to a point, in fact. One should never give any private information about themselves on the internet to anyone publicly or privately unless you know that person IN PERSON and trust them. There was a new member here about a year ago who saw that I was from Louisiana. He sent me a private message giving his real name, real town, and real name of his home church in Louisiana. He asked me to send him all of my private information. I never responded. At work we had more than one sam, and and another S. Evans..... so i was noteda lot of the time as the other one and that is what i use here. not worried about it though; i use my name on facebook and parler. For me.. over time there has only been one group of people that have hurt me the most.
