And thank you for the "MEAT QUESTION" grilled pork chop.

Hahaha Yum!     I just want everyone in this thread to be edified by our Holy God!   We are in such a time where desperation and confusion are the norms.   But we have a God who knows the end from the beginning and Whom we have Victory in before the battles we face have ever started

Our Lord Jesus Christ also has appointed to us  battles to loose...many times we understand many of  the things that we need to understand and are hidden from us when we enter into battles and we loose...we learn a lot and one of them is to be humble in the feelings of defeat...as not to be overcome by our righteous indignation...and quickly lash out against baby the messager of the Lord as it happened with the old testament prophets...they were prosecuted by the people of God.....same thing happened to Jesus....even to Paul.

Are we actually losing such battles if it causes us to grow in God and become a stronger Servant for His Will and Purpose?   I believe it's how we choose to view the outcomes rather than the results that is most important.   But I understand what you're saying.   I just wanted to put a positive spin on it.   But I also think in a certain kind of way, we are saying the same thing here

Yes we do say the same thing...as Jesus Christ said to Paul: "in the diversity of your battles you will see my power",,I may have put a spin on it...not remembering the exact words... but hope I have remained in the substance...

Paul was told enough of wanting to have a victory...to win the Jews over to the faith by arguing with them in their Synagogues....

It seems that Paul lost this battle and in fact he did and made a lot of Jews angry who seek from there on to kill him...

But on the other hand he sharpened himself how to explain the Gospel through the prophets and the Phalms and the volumes of the events in the time past...

And then he showed that the door to the Gentiles was open and his jeal to win them over to Jesus had kept the Gentiles waiting...

Yes we said the same thing...having not the same mind in approaching the issues at hand we arrived in the same conclusion...from a different approach...

There is something to consider when we read some of the things that happened in  the scriptures....

We see that Mary had come to understand something or how else to put it...

We read that "Mary kept the  things the Angel told her as secrets in her heart, and was pondered about them"...

We need to understand the importance of how to keep the things revealed to us by the Holy Spirit...

To get excited and wanting to share with others...who are not willing or ready to listen can be detrimental to us and even cause Jesus to withhold many things from us...because they may do more harm than good...

Like Mary we should keep them to our selves and ponder about them between us and the Lord...in due time he will let us know to whom we may talk to and the right time when...

He let us know for not only us to see his love for us in this way...like in the good steward he entrusts us with his kind of blessing...but down the road he has a propose and not the only one...to sent us on a mission and to meet someone who needed to hear those things...

Amongst other things...

And we can also look at Mary and compare it to her day she lived in.   Today, it's normal for an unmarried female to have at least one child.   In her day, especially as a Jew, it was basically something that would have condemned her and maybe even put her to death.   But yet, she knew the consequences and still trusted God.   A lesson we can definitely apply to our own lives!

I am not nitpicking here, but I am pretending to be a SINNER trying to learn what your post means.

Where in the Bible does the words co-equal, co-eternal, persons describing this idea of a trinity exist at?

And I was under the impression that when the Bible speaks of God it begins with a Capital letter since the Hebrew is written for words like lord (lowercase), Lord (first word Capital), LORD (all words are capital).   So in Genesis 1:26 the words (us/our/our) (are all lowercase) that cannot mean God because when speaking of God it always begins with a Capital letter or all letters are Capital.  So clearly the Hebrew words used by Moses were not discussing a trinity!   I think this is clearly like Psalms 82 where God is discussing with His Council.

I (SINNER) don't think you have a clue who you serve.   Why should I believe you and serve whatever it is you claim to serve?   You cannot even define it properly.

So, in a Christ like response.   How do you respond?

That is because you are using Masoreic Text Completed in 10th century A.D. Jews who sought to remove the verses that confirm the Trinity and prophecies of the Messiah. They changed Elohim (plural) which had alwaya been plural for many thousands of years to Elohim (singular). Their Tankhs (Old Testaments) to this day are Half-Tankhs that remove Isaiah 53. Rabbis in Israel who read Isiah 53 for the diest time tear their robes, for they know only Jesus Christ fufilled Isaiah 53.

The Jews and Church used The Septuagint which was compiled by 70 Jews Scholars in Alexandria (where greatest university and library of antiquity was)  in 60 B.C. They had no bias against The Trinity of Christ because it was 60yrs before Christ came in the flesh and was born of the Virgin Mary.

The Jews of the 10th Century A.D, that is 1,000yrs after Christ Ascended, hated Christians and sought to corrupt the Scriptures to remove anything that affirms The Trinity and Jesus as Lord.

Most Bibles today sadly use the Masoretic Text instead of the Septuagint. Which causes problems because Jesus, and his apostles quote the Septuagint.  This is why errors and bad cross referencing happens.

Jesus knew all about the different kinds of translations and could foresee what will happen and he had his reasons as to why....I am suspecting some of the reasons but I am not say anything...

Jesus knew and he left like that....people arguing about this word or that and they make doctrines out of it...

What comes to mind...Is Jesus taulking about the Paracletous...

He said that he has not come on the earth yet and that because he is in Heaven with the Father...waiting for me to be glorified in the Heavens first after my ascension...

Eight days pass from the time of the ascension till the Paracletous coming on the  earth.. on the day of Penticost...

Eight days Jesus had to spend in the Heaven with the Paracletous...Jesus said I will sent him to you..

It comes from the Father and is given to me....

Why would Jesus use a translation that attacks His Triuness and that He is the Christ? The Masoretic trxt is corrupted, Jesus quoted the Septuagint.

My post it was not just about this one or that one....it was about the Paracletous and the question raised it was why he had to come after the ascension and not before...to correctly answer this question one must have understood that the Heavenly Father is first introduced to the people through Jesus Christ...that the Heavenly Father was childless till Jesus Christ...in the Baptist of Jesus you can clearly that it was the first time that the Heavenly Father gave the witness " this is my only Son in whom I am well please...

What did Jesus do to please the Heavenly Father....

By the way It was the Lord God who made man and not the Heavenly Father ...yes it was with the Heavenly Father in the same accord but it was given to the Creator to give him of his Life...

Numerous times the Lord God said I am the one who Created everything and man...why wouldn't he say otherwise if it was otherwise...

Any way Jesus is the Emmanuel...this is the point I am driving...and he is the Son of David.

John the Baptist who was from the seed of Abraham and whom God brought forth needed the Holy Spirit even from his mother's womb...

But what about Jesus the only one with the Life...

After Adam lost the Life...the only one left who had the Life was his Creator...

He knew it was him not only when he said "the seed of woman will crush your head and you will bruise his heel "...

But also when he created man he must have said as soon as he showed him....

ONE DAY I WILL LOOK LIKE THAT....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
