The supernatural protection is ONLY for those that flee.

Ex. 19:4  Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

Just as God supernaturally protected and feed the Jews who fled out of Egypt, so God will protect and feed those that flee from Judea.

But it is only the WISE dressed in the gospel armor, who know what is happening and so know how to call on the promises of God.  

We know the Holy Spirit will be with us during the beasts reign from verses such as
 
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
 

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Quick question :   Does it say anywhere who these armies are for or against?  I always figured they were gathered round Jerusalem because they worship as the rest of the world does and that is where Satan will be.  They don't become "fighting" armies until Christ and his armies return.

 

Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

I guess because the warning we are given is DO NOT BE DECEIVED, and the FALLING AWAY is a sudden change in worship, and BEING MARKED is the result of that that, that the DEATHS OF THE FAITHFUL is not a physical one but a spiritual one.  We are warned (and please don't take the scripture included as meant for you,  as it is obvious to me that you stand firmly upon the Rock)

I agree DeighAnn, it is a physical death many saint will experience, and not a spiritual death, as many scriptures testify.

The earth helping the woman, will be the very obvious signs of destruction the earth experiences, thereby swallowing up the flood of lies the dragon will spew from its mouth (a.k.a., the beast's mouth), advocating the destructive power the dragon will provide the beast that will cause woe all inhabitants of the earth and sea.

Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
