And from what is seems. How we treat the needy and each other, is what  we are going to be judge on. Interesting.

We are told: "The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel." (Proverbs 12:10)

God will: destroy those who have destroyed the earth.” (Rev 11"18)

That was before the constitution.

I did say "supposedly", because I've heard that the "founding fathers" were largely (entirely?) high level Freemasons.  I don't know if that's true or not; but it would certainly cast a different light on the founding of America, since Freemasons, at the top levels, are told that they are actually worshipping Lucifer.

Perhaps partly because I'm British, I'm not that impressed with the founding of America anyway, since it was on the basis of a violent revolution.  Britain should have listened to the colonists, given them proper representation in parliament and not imposed heavy taxation; but that is not an excuse for violent revolution (two wrongs don't make a right).

The French also had a violent revolution, against their rulers, at about the same time; but Britain avoided an internal revolution, and the reason commonly cited, is the Methodist revival.

IF we discontinue our support, backup, and any assistance to the nation of Israel in her time of need, we as a nation shall crumble and fall into utter ruin. I believe God's word.

Has that happen?

No, it hasn't happened. I'm not saying we aren't a sinful nation, we most certainly are. Is the Lord pleased with us behaving like a bunch of heathens? No, of course He isn't. But, we need to pray in all earnesty the day when we turn our back on Israel NEVER happens. If, IF we do, then we are toast!

If we surmise the abrahamic covenant of blessing doesn't cover and apply to us, we then are also deceiving ourselves in the same sense. That would also be disastrous and we shouldn't entertain such folly. We are blessed due to the mere fact His Chosen Ones reside here. Their blessings are ours also as believers.

This is my personal opinion of course, but countless theologians state similar. Where do you think I got it? From my own head? Nope. This helped what anti-Semite feelings may have yet existed when I became a believer. I personally don't feel they were ever there to begin with. My parents taught against prejudice.

The theme of the Hippie Movement wasn't meant to advocate psychoactive substances in particular, but it did quickly predominate the culture as a whole. Cannabis was around in abundance at that time and LSD was already permeating the communities to the inner regions of central California from San Francisco and Los Angeles. Mexican heroin was always here. Few but Hispanics were interested in this hard core drug usage, but barbiturates and amphetamines were flooding the schools also in junior and senior high. (7-8 grade and 9-12 grade) Alcohol was readily available and its popularity never stopped. Okay, I'm off-topic. Back to that.

Is America Under Judgement?

Now, here's my opinion on the subject. As long as we will backup and support the nation of Israel, we shall remain blessed of the Lord. We have more Jewish people residing here in the USA per populous than does the entire region of the Holy Land. The Hassid control the diamond industry in New York City, NY and Jewish directors, producers, and those who are the backbone of the film corporations pretty much own Hollywood, CA. Here is the promise given Abram, the abrahamic covenant.

GENESIS 12:3 KJV "And I will bless them that bless thee ...

https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Genesis-12-3

1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

No matter how high we climb the mountain, we are still pulled down by the force of gravity. God will not continue to tolerate sin forever. God is pulling an arrogant, pompous, and prideful America down from her mountain---the gravity of sin is too great. The hammer has not dropped yet, and there may be periods of climbing higher, but God has continued giving us warning after warning after warning. 9/11 breached our walls of protection---a warning. Diseases are causing havoc---a warning. Natural disasters are being experienced in greater numbers---a warning. People are hungry without work to sustain them---a warning. You might be right about not crashing yet. But we do not know the outcome of this election---one God is in full control of. The Democrats are here to unravel this entire system of government---a pawn in God's plan perhaps. They will take religion and Israel with them. We are hanging by a thread---only a thread---over a great precipice. The signs of judgment are upon us. God gave Nineveh 40 days before annihilation; the Word tells us that from the least to the greatest---including the king---repented in sackcloth and ashes, and were spared for 50 years. God will put his Church through the fire first. Are we ready in this Laodicean era? We are barely distinguishable from the world. Jesus told us to be ready, to watch, to be prepared. Are we? Are we in "sackcloth and ashes," repenting before God, praying earnestly with deep humility and reverence before a Holy God that does not tolerate sin? Jesus is our only hope---our every breath depending upon Him. Needless to say this is only my opinion. I hope it is wrong.

When did America have this Spirit? I think maybe before it became America.

This is about people.

The people who settled here killed, murdered, millions of souls on this continent.

The fantasy that they were pure is an illusion.

I do not see them as people to be looked up to.

The sands of time have distorted the truth about them.

Just ask any native American, in North or South America.

-----------

But there are some individuals who preached the gospel and saved souls.

Who they are may not be known to men, but they are known to Jesus.

It is these people who influenced and changed the direction of nations from greed and murder to love.

It is their influence that has made nations what they are.

-------

The idea that you can change the heart and mind of souls without the gospel of love is short sighted.

You can pass laws, but people will do what they want anyway.

The freedom to preach the gospel is what makes a nation great.

The U.S. has been a leader in that respect, supporting the gospel around the world, with others.

-------

But now, the preachers, many but not all, have abandoned the gospel to change the heart and minds of souls, for laws and brutality.

Many claiming to be Christians want to imprison and brutalize souls who do not agree with their ideas of what should be, instead of loving them.

It is these people who have abandoned the ways of Jesus and the Holy Spirit of love for mammon and worldly power.

-----

The most powerful weapon in the world is the gospel sword,

able to pierce the heart and change the souls of men,

but the abandonment of the love gospel by these popular preachers, for money, fame, and power, has led to the diminishing of the righteousness of the U.S. and other freedom loving nations around the world.

Nations who leave the ways of love, respect, truth, reason, and the gospel have lost their way.

The people of this world can see this, America has lost it's way, it's example of how to love.

Now it has been replaced by lies, lies, and lies.

Brutality and  uncaring leaders who don't know the meaning of love your neighbor as yourself.

Is there a nation or country on earth that possesses all these marks of God?

Israel was to spread abroad  West, East, North, South, colonize and to have a new home, northwest of Palestine.  Also to colonize the desolate place of the earth and be God's instrument in destroying evil

great and mighty
multitudinous seed
to have all the land needed
to be first among nations
to continue as a nation forever
to be invincible to outside forces/defended by God
have great mineral wealth
agricultural wealth
to be envied and feared
to have a new name
a new language
possess the gates of her enemies
control the seas
be sons of God/Christian
carry Gospel to the world

No. Not a literal country. However, the church, made up of every born again Christian, fits the description.

If North America is under judgement, it is in the same way any other country is under judgement. Nothing special about North America.

But he has not come yet. So at this moment we and the nation are not being judge?

We're always being judged, LadyKay. There's such a powerfully negative connotation associated with the Lord's judgment that many live in fear of Him and as a result, the same never seek the Lord's judgment here and now. Some prefer to wait until the Son of God comes to judge us all.

Why wait until the end? All we need do is come before the Lord and ask for His judgment... God is faithful to grant our petition because it's made according to His will. Would you refuse your child who comes asking for your judgment?  If we're faithful to honor the requests of our own children seeking correction, how much more faithful is our Father in heaven when we come before the Lord seeking correction according to His will? What shall the end be like for such a one?

I really have no idea if any tree cutting caused a mud slide.

Depends on who you ask. Some say the four seasons in California are: earthquake, fire, flood and drought. Others some say: earthquakes, droughts, fires and mudslides.  I live near the great lakes and the weather girl has been telling us that the smoke from the california fires is in our sky now. Reminds me of the 60's when we had a lot of air pollution from industry.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
