Yeah well, kept from the hour doesn't mean forcibly abducted from one place and taken to another.

Kept from the hour is to set a watch over or guard.

Pretrib fails miserably here.

Diaste,  you missed the point. This post is not about the rapture, it's about what Jesus instructed us to do to be worthy to escape. He obviously does not want His children to go through the tribulation if it can be avoided. Only the Philadelphians will qualify and we have to make sure we are in that category. He can move His people around, hide them and He can call them up to heaven if He chooses as He does in Chapter 11:12 with the 144, 000. These candlesticks/churches are in heaven in chapter fourteen before the blood bath occurs at the end of that chapter.

The point is, the Jezebel spirit does not teach that there is an option.

This is just rhetoric. Worthy to escape is a personal flight. 'Kept from the hour' is to guard or watch over. "Because you have kept the word of my patience..." is scriptural truth about who is 'kept from the hour'.  Whatever Jezebel has to say or not is immaterial. The option isn't between rapture or not rapture. The option is believing Jesus Christ and resting in Him.

You are missing the point of the whole post.  God says He will keep a remnent from the hour. It doesn't matter how He does that, the point is as the scripture says, only those who are faithful like the Philadelphians will be kept. That is why Jesus said we are to pray to be made worthy to escape. Are you doing that?

I do quite often. I'd like it if there was an option to exit stage left. The best I see is trust in the Lord and keep your head down till He arrives.

This is just what the Bible says and it is not rhetoric.  Being worthy to escape is to be worthy enough to be in the category of those who are to be kept from the hour. That is the hour of His judgment in Chapter 14:7.  God warns Jezebel's followers that they will endure tribulation if they don't repent.  God is showing us that we have an option to be protected.  The Jezebel spirit does not want to teach repentance so her followers will undergo the results of their disobedience. The Lord is trying to protect us from that judgment. It's important to be able to hear the Still Small voice for guidance. We have to be able to hear His direction when He tells us to flee. The option is not only believing in Jesus and resting in Him, it's also in obeying Him. That's something the Jezebel spirit is always trying to negate.

What is certain upon the Lord's Return is His gathering of the saints to Himself, both those deceased and those still living.

1Th 4:16-17  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  (17)  Then we which are alive and remain shall be harpazō, caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

2Th 2:1  Now we beseech you, brethren, by the parousia,  the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our episunagōgē, our gathering together unto him,

Mat 24:29-31  Immediately after the thlipsis, the  tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  (30)  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  (31)  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall episunagō, gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

That's the first resurrection which happens after the tribulation. It's the only time there will be no true Christians left on the planet. The point of my post is that it is God's desire to protect His people from the great tribulation. It does not mean that they will not go through tribulation, but the Lord makes a distinction between the destinations that proceed it and the time when the anitchrist is revealed and begins his massacre against all those who will not worship the devil through him.

I think the Lord is making it very clear that He does not want His people to have to go through the great tribulation when the antichrist is revealed. I believe being obedient to His word and remaining faithful to Him will provide the means of escape at that time. The Lord has shown me that this time will be horrific, it will be "The Hunger Games" on a world wide scale. There is a reason why He said to pray we are worthy to escape. He wouldn't have said that if it was not possible to escape. Let's obey Him and pray that we are worthy. He is the one who can do that. We just have to be humble enough to ask Him.

You have not only misquoted Luke 21:36, but your misconceptions about a pre-trib rapture has caused you to misrepresent what Jesus is saying.   It doesn't say,  "...pray that you may be accounted worthy...", It says,

Luk 21:36 KJV WATCH YE THEREFORE, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

You are leaving out "WATCH ye THEREFORE...",  As a pastor of my youth once told me,  "When you see either of the words 'Wherefore or Therefore', find out first what IT is there for."  They are used to connect two or more adjoining thoughts.   In this case,  it connects what is written in verses 34-35 with verse 36.  It says,

Luk 21:34-36 KJV And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so THAT DAY come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall IT come on ALL them that DWELL on the face of the whole EARTH.

Watch ye therefore,

and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

What does "that day" refer to in verse 34?  It refers to the time in which you shall see all these things [by watching]  taking place.  If we were to accept your notion that Jesus meant that we could miss all these things,  it would render the thoughts that are conveyed before and after the "therefore" as mutually exclusive to each other, and the use of "therfore" as a mutually inept connector of thoughts.   But Jesus said [therfore]  WATCH YE.   [ALL] Those things that encompasses "that day" shall come on the whole world.   And it will come like a thief upon those who allow themselves to resort to surfeiting (essentially a hangover from being drunk)  and drunkenness,  rather than praying to withstand and endure [G2476, histemi] ALL those things which shall come on the whole world.

Mat 24:43 KJV But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what WATCH the thief would come, he would have WATCHED, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

You can't be found watching for these things to take place,  if you aren't going to be here.  When these things BEGIN to take place, you have forfeited your right to miss ALL these things.

Luk 21:28 KJV And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth NIGH.

JESUS that our redemption would ONLY THEN...BE NEAR.

Be Blessed

The PuP

When these tings begin to take place, then that is when God provides the means to escape if we are watching and praying to be made worthy to escape. Again, God warns Jezebel's followers that if they do not repent then they will go through tribulation. This shows us that there is an option. If we repent and obey God then we can be protected. This reminds me of all those people who do not believe that there is a hell. If there is no hell, there is no punishment, so they really don't have to worry about how they behave. It's the same with the rapture concept. If there is no rapture and we are all going to go through the great tribulation, then we don't have to worry so much about obedience and having to qualify or be worthy to escape. We can keep following Jezebel. I'm not. Blessings to you.

Jesus said,  "except you repent,  you shall all ...perish".  Repentance is at the forefront of having a victorious Christian life.   But,  victory is determined by what happens at the end of the race,  and not who is winning while the race is ongoing.   [With]Standing and praying is Jesus's exhortation that is reiterated by Paul:

 Eph 6:13-18 KJV Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to WITHSTAND in the EVIL DAY, and having done all, to. STAND therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to QUENCH all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and WATCHING thereunto with all PERSEVERANCE and supplication for all saints;

This whole passage is about why we are exhorted by Jesus to WATCH.

Withstand, stand, quench and perseverance through the weaponry of the spirit, of shiv prayer is a vital component, IN THE EVIL DAY (watching thereunto for that day to come) is the primary point of Paul in this passage.   Its not to escape all these things,  but it is for perseverance on our part that we will be called upon to have.  Jezebel thought she was exempt from the righteous  judgment of God,  but was not.

You have conflated the coming great tribulations with the sumultaneous Revelation of the man of sin.  He will be revealed for the sake of those that reject the truth and choose to find pleasure in unrighteousness,  who will fall away when they choose not to endure the righteous judgment of God,  being found UNWORTHY of the kingdom.

Rom 2:2-11 KJV But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath AGAINST the DAY of WRATH and REVELATION of the RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT of GOD; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.

2Th 1:4-10 KJV So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) IN THAT DAY.

Perseverance and patience during persecution and tribulation, [IN THAT DAY] will be the righteous judgment that God uses to determine who is worthy of the kingdom of God.  Are you worthy of the righteous judgment of God,  or do you think that you are exempt from it?  It is the wise who hear and do the commandments of God when the storms of life shall beat vehemently against our house.  The rest will hear him say,  depart from me ye workers of iniquity...i Don't know you,

Mat 7:20-29 KJV Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me IN THAT DAY,

Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

You need to be saying to the followers of Jezebel,  "Get yourselves ready for the righteous judgment of God "

Be Blessed

The PuP

We are not made worthy  of the kingdom of God by how we endure tribulation as I think you are saying. We are found worthy by remaining faithful to the gospel and not denying Jesus. We are saved by grace and in turn that grace produces obedience. Those whom Jesus rejects, that say, "Lord, Lord", are those He "never knew." The only way Jesus could say that is they had removed the cross from their theology and were trying to justify themselves before Him by pointing to the things that they had done. Only the works that are produced through us by His grace working in us will be accepted, because without Him we can do nothing (John 15).  I am saying to Jezebel what God is saying, "Repent" or you will face the consequences of your disobedience, and that includes an obvious lack of God's protection. Jezebel's flock in Thyatira will not be kept like the Philadelphians. It behooves us to understand the characteristics of the five churches that are disqualified from being Philadelphians.

Excellent! This shows that there is One rapture/resurrection at the time of His Coming

It shows that it is not a secret event ... poof, we're gone and everyone wonders where did they go - as the Left Behind  series implied.

No, every eye will see Him, the last Trumpet is blown and the rest sees knows, so they mourn, kick themselves for their numerous rejections and opportunities to receive Christ throughout their lives - but they said, no thank you! Then they try to hide or worse yet, turn insane and attempt to gather together and war against Christ.

We must realize that the Holy Spirit, (The Restrained of evil), is taken out of the way as the Church is, since we are the TEMPLE and at that time, the Temple is opened in heaven. When the Holy and Church is removed, all evil breaks loose. People on earth _ all of a sudden _ turn evil, because there is no goodness/power if the Holy Spirit to restrain it.

At this time, the 7 Bowls of wrath are realesed.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
