I face similar issue. I will write down sort of public confession maybe it will help to me. Maybe it will help to others as I will show how that crazy mindset works.

On some days when bored suddenly find myself out of control to harvest sexual content from internet despite never really liking that kind of my own behavior. Even as I woke up I feel that this really might happen what I do not like and still it happens later. In the most such cases I start with half innocent dating site thinking that I can not ban that to myself anymore, but it kinda awakens the beast to drift all around net from it. I have some quite unrealistic girl type which does not exist in dating site, but still I have to check for that again. And then I remember that it exists in other web sites without even thinking again how bad it is.

So it is clear "gunpowder" recipe for disaster: well rested, quite bored and then some dating site to warm up and breach mental defenses really.

I read pretty much all topic and hopefully I will face it with proper mindset next time.

I think we lack a clear understanding of God's plan and purpose. We do not understand why God created us male and female and what He is going to accomplish through this. In Genesis 2:24 we are told: "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh". Porn seems to be a violation of this.

John neither of these verses seem to support anything about Judas' personal feelings  but this passage certainly does:
 

Matt 27:3-5

The biblical definition of shameful nudity (under the Law, which still stands) would convict almost everyone. Both revealing it and lusting after it / looking at it.

Isaiah 47::1-3 (and Leviticus 18:8) along with Job 31:1-13 and Matthew 5:27-30 plus the flagrant disregard for hardly any protocols or propriety in this regard today makes it all the more convicting just to be out in public, watch TV, read a magazine, go online with any sort of photos or videos...

In the Attorney General's Commission on Pornography, Justice Potter Stewart said, "I can't define pornography, but I know it when I see it."

As a matter of fact he could have defined it (the biblical texts above) but he was unwilling to include the compromises of society to tolerate lesser porn (for which most people are guilty). So he copped out, unwilling to shoulder the burden of holding everyone's feet to the fire. 

Were it not for Grace most all of us (and IMHO I'd say all of us) would be guilty of some form of pornography in the way we dress or the way we ogle... if we are honest with ourselves and with God who already knows the truth. ← this is what I believe 1 John 1:9 is about FACING the truth about our sin our sins and ourselves in this era of Grace before we are perfected in the resurrection.

This is not to justify the greater acts of porn or say God winks the eye at our participation in it / lusting after it. There are some who teach the original sin (eating forbidden fruit was metaphor for masturbation). I don't agree with that belief but I share it to show the tying in with original sin opening the eyes about nudity (i.e. lust / shame) suggests at least the possibility. 

Some rabbinical circles even considered masturbation the murder of "the seed" that was never given even the chance "to take root." A form of spiritual abortion.

The point I'm making is that porn is bad. It cannot be made to be good. In most cases, desensitization causes people to be indifferent towards porn (both the greater and lesser versions). ← BTW, you could go to any Church in any denomination for a great many number of years and see women with their hair uncovered, legs (we would say calves) showing and in more recent years thighs uncovered... in Prayer cerise... and you can be assured the guys were / are watching (lusting which is what got their attention).

So the lesser version of porn we are guilty of. Not that it justifies the greater version. BUT... Jesus taught that we must get our own house in order before we are to help others with their sins.

We want to stop "pornography" or abortion? We must begin with ourselves.
