What do you Believe

hey all I thought this would be  a good spot to post this. So wht do you believe. Do you think there is a rapture, or do you think we christian will have to endure until he Jesus comes to rain? I'm not really sure, I was reading revelations the other day and I attend two different churches, and they have different views. I don't see where it says there is a rapture. But I still hope there might be one.

Rapture yes, but after enduring the tribulations until Christ comes.

From what the bible says, I'm inclined to believe that Jesus will rapture His church to be with Him. The passage in 1 Thessalonians referenced earlier (among others) suggests such an event. The timing of the rapture seems to generate a lot of discussion; hence the pre-trib, mid-trib and post-trib points of view. But keep smiling; Jesus IS coming back and it's closer today than it's ever been.

I believe in a pre-trib rapture. I think there are too many verses that point to it in scripture. I do not believe the church will go through the tribulation, although I do believe we will see persecution beforehand, the harbingers of which are already present.

I believe no one ( especially me)really has a clue about any of this but it does make for a good novel. I have read most of the left behind series. The last few books were lame but if a big Hollywood studio sunk some big bucks into say the first 5 or 6, they(Hollywood) would make a huge profit. My take on an end time is simple...." everybody gets one".

Christ is returning from heaven to earth. What some have mistakenly termed as the rapture are the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the catching away of His saints into the air of earth at Christ's return. Then Christ and His army of saints will annihilate the devil and his messengers who will, at that time, be posing as messengers of light (Christians). Then Christ will set up His kingdom for a thousand years on earth. This is what the scriptures all put together say.

1 Thessalonians 4

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

Revelation 20

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Jude 1

14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."

9 And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."

The word Rapture is not in the Bible. But the concept is going to happen.

Many believe it will happen before the Tribulation starts and

Others believe it will happen at the Last Trump in the heavens.

We have the doctrine of the Rapture before the Tribulation because some woman name Mary had a vision in 1929 or 1930 I can not remember and she saw a rapture of people before the tribulation so that is where that doctrine came from it is not in the word that way at all. Many denomination have made it truth according to their religion.

When the first church down through out the centeries taught it was the Last Trump and then the catching away Gods people. It has always been that way until this women had a vision or dream with a different doctrine.

I was one who believe in that lying doctrine until the Lord himself revealed to my husband and myself the way the word of God declares it. If you read the things of the end times with casting all the dung of it behind you and reading it fresh in the spirit with which it was intended you will find the truth that has been there all along.

God was merciful to open our eyes and see so that we can prepare for the end of the age. We live one day at a time and stand in the truth that is given but we are also to be prudent and prepare for the days to come and be in the will of God to obtain the protection of the Father God for his people through it all.

Proverbs 22:3 27:12

A PRUDENT man sees the evil and hides himself, but the SIMPLE pass on and are punished (with suffering)

Because the Church is dead and asleep in the most exciting time of our lives they will be taken unawares because they believe in being taken out of the trials of the end time so they will not prepare for the greatest adventure in Christ winning souls and being able to do greater works then Jesus did here upon this earth.

I await the day when the world will be distroyed but also awaken by the few that will be won to the gospel in that time.

To say we should not have to go through that Tribulation then you tell that to China or Africa or the other nations of the earth where people are suffering for the name of Christ and being martered every day in the name of Christ.

I believe I will see water come out of the rock when the people of God need water and that God will hide us in the times of troubles and that the mark will be for all upon the earth but those who love God will have a shelter in the time of storm.

We will have the Power of God to live the victories that will be ours in the time of Tribulation. None of our enemies will harm us and those of us who die in Christ will be in Heaven and we will have lost nothing in the end.

But those who have not prepared there hearts and minds to gain this knowledge now and prepare for it will be taken in suffering and many will be given in to the enemy of there souls. The delusion of the "so called church" will mark the struggle for not facing the truth that was right before them. We will be the ones to help the broken and bewildered and hurt in the Power of Jesus Christ Ressurection and the Glory of the Lord will bring us to the end in the Rapture of our souls to Heaven but not before we face the enemy of our souls head on and win with Jesus by our sides.

God bless and you look for the scriptures that will fortifie you life in Christ that you will be a Soldier in this army when the war begins.

Even though Christ taught the whole mystery of the Gospel and the kingdom, and it is all there in the scriptures. Most people would choose to disregard what is written and believe what this group believes or what that group believes. So they choose the confusion of Babylon instead of the truth. This way they think they don't have to line up with the truth. But it is the great tribulation that is coming to force them to line up or get out.

The great tribulation is the purging furnace that creation is pressing into to remove the alloy from the Lord’s people and bring the fall of Babylon (confusion).

Why does it take the great tribulation to get the Lord’s people to wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb?

(all who walked the earth has sinned, all who sin will taste death). Right there say's without doubt no rapture. All will die.

Then forgiveness means nothing? And Christ Lied to us? You are mistaken. All will not taste death before they are caught away and changed in a moment at the return of Christ. It is the catching away that is for the living in Christ at His return. The resurection from the dead is for those who have died in Christ. It all happens in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at Christ's return to earth from heaven. It all happens together It is the same event.

Very well said, servant, I couldn't have said it better myself.

You mentioned a girl named Mary, who had a dream or vision, is the way that I see where the rapture began.

I have one thought for you to think about, why would God not allow His people to go through the tribulation in this day and time.

Remember the plagues that the people of Egypt and of course Moses experienced?

God didn't scoop up all of His people back then to protect them from those horrible plagues, so why would anybody believe in a thing known as the rapture?

So why would God not let everybody be here to make the choice who they are going to worship when the anti-christ appears claiming to be Christ???

The Kingdom of Heaven comes from the throne of God when God gives His Spirit to the believer. The Kingdom of Christ comes at the return of Christ when He descends from the throne of Heaven to earth to set up His kingdom on earth. He who sits on the throne of heaven is in the sons of God where there is neither Greek nor Jew bond or free male nor female.

Lu 17

20 "The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

21 nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."

Ac 7

49 'Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Lord, Or what is the place of My rest?
