Let me try it in this context,

Do you believe there is a single verse left in the bible that applies to what will happen in your future and if so which one?

or maybe this one,

IF all came to pass 2 thousand years ago, then what has been going on since and is 'death of the flesh' the only thing left?

At some point does everyone die and Christ returns then?

As you saw the prophesy written 2520 years ago come to pass in 1948 did that get relegated to an OT one,  so didn't count as far as 'all being fulfilled' back in 70?

As you are watching the world become one through language, money, education through the internet, certainly a very apt description would be 'a beast rising out from among many peoples', does it strike you at all strange or just coincidence?  If you see a one world system being run by 10 different 'entities' all with the same goal (greed and lack of love for others) and it seems for sure the worlds populations are all being treated roughly the same, and then something like something takes out the electricity for a while and so there is no more communication for a while and the world starts to go into chaos and then I miraculously fixed by the biggest Brainiac the world has ever seen, would you then consider that it might be something to take notice of ?

I have got to sleep, so if you answer it will not be for a long time till I get back so please don't think I am ignoring   Thanks

Yes indeed, the kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:21). Who dwells with us? The Spirit of Christ. Who dwells with Christ? Us! Furthermore, we are a royal priesthood and a holy nation.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10 NKJV)

Blessed and holy are those who have a part in the first resurrection: the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the first born of many brethren (Romans 8:29). We are buried with Him in death; we are raised with Him in Life (Colossians 2:12).

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6 NKJV)

The forum wouldn't load so I wasn't able to add a finishing touch to this post. We shall never see death.

This was something many stumbled upon and continue to stumble upon (the Lord was accused of having a demon by those who didn't believe Him). Death has no power over us which is to say, the second death has no power over us.

Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.” (John 8:49-51 NKJV)

We know that the Lord is not referring to the body which was sown in corruption when He says, "he shall never see death." He is most assuredly referring to the second death, then, and not the first.

Indeed. The day of the Lord has yet to occur; the second resurrection of the dead hasn't occurred, when all of the dead shall be judged before the White Throne. Quite a bit has yet to unfold here on earth.

It is quite acceptable. Be aware that your views have been colored by presuppositions.

We all have them and a lot is to do with poor teaching. I am answering several 'comments' at a time some of which are accusations.

If you start at the beginning of this thread, some questions at least have already been answered.

Then please humor an old man and be specific with you enquiries. One at a time.

Where a literal application is possible, yes I do. But for things like 7 headed monsters; no, I don't.      Common sense and logic are required.

The fact that the Lord will send fire to destroy His enemies on His Day of vengeance and wrath, is comprehensively prophesied. He used water the first time, a natural substance and the next time it will be fire. From the heavens, the sun; Isaiah 30:26-30, Psalms 11:4-6, 2 Peter 3:7, +

When all the prophesies about the forthcoming Lord's terrible Day of wrath are considered, it is clear that a CME is the only thing that can fulfil them. He will instigate a CME of unprecedented magnitude, which will strike the Middle East at mid day and will wipe out all the ungodly peoples in that entire area. Zephaniah 2:4-5, Zephaniah 1:12-18, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Jeremiah 10:18, +  Only a remnant of Christian Jews will survive; Isaiah 6:11-13, Romans 9:27

Armageddon will be a sword fest slaughter.  God's Ultimate Spoken WORD being the Sword itself.   Your CME introduction seems plausible to what Peter was discussing, but that is when the old Earth becomes purified and renewed like it originally was [SINLESS].

In my own personal VIEW, I see being a Futurist, according to Biblical Principles, as being a person using practical examples taking place in every day life and then being able to recognize [birth pains] {for one example}.   I see the things Christ mentioned as being the signs within [NATURE], not within man's words, and I can look throughout history and know some natural occurrences have increased it's production and force and each passing year shows capabilities of unleashing the ultimate big one [whether it be Volcanoes, Blizzards, Tornadoes, etc].

God said in Matthew 24 to watch the SIGNS on Earth and in the Atmosphere.

It only takes practical comprehension and a touch of common sense to understand that Nature Itself + the Atmosphere created by God is the best SIGN to be observing.   And by observing as such, we should understand there are serious [Birthing Pains] taking place.   We've been entertaining the idea of WWIII since WWII ended.   We know better than anyone what rumors of war and peace are all about.   We can clearly see the AGE of Brotherly Love or the Dispensation known as Philadephia is long gone and we've been smack dab in the middle of Laodecia long enough we've been LUKEWARM!

A Futurist is a 100% Realist.

Then we know Israel has now 4 times applied to the United Nations to rebuild their Temple.   And we don't use that Temple based on anything but coincidence in comparison to what NATURE and the ATMOSPHERE have been explaining to us like Yeshua instructed in Matthew 24.

There's no cutting to the chase here, we are here.   Over 95% of Prophecy has been fulfilled.   And even smaller prophecies have been fulfilled like Jerusalem belonging to Israel as its rightful Capital.   That vindicates a People who began returning to their homeland (as Prophesied) in 1948.

A Futurist is someone relating yesterday, today, with what the next Event should be.   It's like understanding practical training in the military.   It is like being a Prepper without the use of weapons but placing Your trust and hope in God.

I completely see a Futurist as something most don't.   But I know which events happened in 70 A.D. and what specific events did not.   There's no Logic to call it quits right there.  And that's how a Futurist calls it!

Yeshua said, "Behold the kingdom is nigh unto you".

The apostle said, "You have been translated into the kingdom of His Dear Son".

Furthermore, Yeshua has been seated at the right hand of the Father. He is ruling and reigning right now. His Kingdom is established. RIGHT NOW.

THIS IS NOW and not some future story. The futurist hinders the gospel and probably helps people procrastinate. Especially the rapture stuff - "don't worry, we will be outta here soon. Just don't get involved in this fallen world."

Agree with what you and Marathoner are saying with these posts, BUT is this not a question of "All things have been put under His feet, but we do not YET see all things put under His feet" and therefore "seeing all things put under His feet" is still to come in the future?

Sorry if I'm cluttering things up with too many questions, it's hard to hash this topic out in writing....but do you believe that the kingdoms of the world have already become the kingdoms of our Christ? since He is ruling and reigning already?  But we do not yet see this (fully), so do you and others agree that it is still waiting to be MANIFESTED in the future at His return?  In other words certain things have been accomplished but not yet fully manifested?....a "yes but not yet understanding"?

I agree with the point that there has been too much emphasis and at least partial wrong-headedness on eschatology in recent times, and it has been a diversion.  (Rapture things are only a problem when it's pre-trib though, in my opinion.)

I see things as a playing out of what already is. All things are subject to God's will and there is never a time when He isn't in control. Its difficult for some folks to accept  this, but He is indeed sovereign. It was declared in Eden.

The enemy knows full well his fate is sealed and tied up in his Maker's will.

The Kingdom 'IS' and is to come. The Kingdom is established in us and every place where God is Lord is the Kingdom. What are we to be doing?

Israel and the progression of dominion is a great type. That same type works within each of us and the world at large. The darkness cannot withstand the growth of His Church and Kingdom.

What are we to be doing?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
