Wiki says he is a multi millionaire. I an highly suspicious of anychristian leader who is a millionaire. Using Google I found an Australian Christian site that both praised and was critical of him. On balance they said his knowledge of the OT was faulty, even substandard and that his view of grace was questionable. On balance I would have nothing to do with him. Like Joel Osteen, he has a huge mega church. Not a lot is known about his personal life other than his vast wealth. Since his programs on t.v were captioned, I listened to several. He never touched on the gospel, or the need for turning from sin and give one's life to God. I have not listened to any more of his programs. I'm not a big fan of t.v preachers or youtube preachers. I do believe we must try to focus on the Goodness of the Good News (which is what the word Gospel means). But not to the exclusion of real matters at hand that we must deal with. I also believe there are vast numbers of people who cannot / will not be reached by "traditional" methods. Take Christian prison ministries for example. Take Christians with cancer being able to reach out to people with cancer, alcoholism, sex addiction, divorce, parents without partners, you name it. This is why we are all individual priests before God (Revelation 1:6 / Revelation 5:10) a kingdom of priests (1 Peter 2:3-9). The effective outreach of the Gospel to every creature, to every generation. I can't speak to Joseph Prince, since I know so little about him... I've seen him a time or two (but never watched him but for a moment). So I cannot defend or accuse the guy. If his is parlaying a huge income from his outreach and he is teaching the Truth, then he is meeting a need people have as far as the Gospel is concerned. I do not believe Gospel teaching and preaching should be a money making business... But what does that say about the Church? ← by that I mean the Church industrial complex worldwide How many $trillions does the Roman Catholic Church have at its disposal? I stopped listening to such men. You dont really need a teacher. Search scripture yourself and discuss it here, then form your own opinions.
