YAHWEH DETESTS THE TRADITIONS OF MEN. IT IS ALL IN VAIN!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No he does not. Traditions are only a problem when we put our tradtion on equal footing or above the Scriptures. Traditions are not in and of themselves a threat to God. Jesus did not condemn the religious leaders for their tradtions per se, but for the hypocritical, tyrannical way they administered.
EVERYONE has traditions.
It's not about the gifts wrapped up in pretty bows.
It's not about the parties, where everybody goes.
It's not about the decorations, everywhere to be found.
It's not about the music or other things around.
It's a day that we remember, our Beloved Saviour's birth.
So think of Jesus on Christmas day, and all that He is worth.
Christmas is so warm and giving. Spending time with the family and exchanging gifts, eating good food, singing Christmas Carols, going to Church Service.
Same in my house Constant. When I was a kid growing up we had a wonderful time at Christmas. This time of year is sad for me, both parents gone, I miss them so much.
So you celebrate the birth of the sun god baal, otherwise known as Lucifer the light bearer? :thumbsup:
You know very well what is meant and your attempt to make you point in this manner is a cheap shot and only makes you look immature.
Atheists and people that do not believe in celebrating Christmas should have no problem working that day so that others can celebrate with their families without having to worry about being on the schedule.
It's certainly not immature since that is the truth and Christ'sMass is filled with lies. It is not the day of Christ's birth, but is the day of the birth of the sun (solstice). How can you claim to celebrate the truth of what it is unless you celebrate the birth of the sun and not Christ?
I assume that when you say "truth" you mean there is no Santa, reindeer, elves, etc., but what about wise men? The wise men came to Nazareth to see Jesus when He was almost two years old. If you will read Matthew 2:7-11 carefully, you will see that the star led the wise men to Nazareth, not to the stable in Bethlehem where our Lord was born. Verse 9 tells us that they found Jesus in "the house" where He had lived with Mary and Joseph since He was 91 days old. (Luke 2:7, 21-39) This "house" was in Nazareth, the place where Joseph and Mary lived, and not Bethlehem. Is that celebrating in truth?
You can't take a pagan/Catholic holiday to honor Lucifer, using the same occultic practices of the Babylonians, and then claim you are worshipping Christ, and celebrating the "truth of what it is."
Jeremiah 10:2-4 " Thus says the LORD, "Do not learn the way of the {heathen} nations, And do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens. Although the nations are terrified by them; For the customs of the peoples are delusion; Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. "They decorate it with silver and with gold; They fasten it with nails and with hammers So that it will not totter. 8 But they are altogether stupid and foolish In their discipline of delusion--their idol is wood!
I Corinthians 10:19 What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we? 23 All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify. 24 Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor.
2 Corinthians 6:16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. 17 "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.
Just in case you didn't read my original post:
This topic comes up every year. It's usually brought up by the "Keep Christ In Christmas" crowd, the "Take The Commercialism Out Of Christmas" bunch or the "How Dare They Ruin OUR Holiday" crowd.
The truth of the matter is Christmas is not a Biblically mandated holiday. So we are free to celebrate it any way we choose or not celebrate it at all. For those of us who choose to celebrate the Lord's birth on that day it's sacred (yes, we all know He wasn't born on that day). For others it's special in other ways. And since it was adapted from a pagan winter festival it is not exclusively a Christian holiday. Rather than criticizing the way others celebrate we Believers would do better to share with them what we celebrate and why.
    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.
      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.
      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.
      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.
      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”
    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?
    • Understanding the Enemy!
      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!
      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.
      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,
      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.
      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!
    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3
      Shalom everyone,
      As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).
    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,
      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.
      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
