Be careful, here. This implies that brethren who don’t agree with you are not honest with God. This is a topic to be handled with care as it involves Christ’s work in His Church.

Questioning another’s experience may not be wise.

That really is the depth of my post- all of 1st creation will be removed from memory including all experience
Isa 65:17

17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
KJV

1 Cor 13:8

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
KJV

2 Peter 3:10-13

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
KJV

Rev 21:1-5

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
KJV

What so NO Christians can grow and learn and become mature by building upon their experiences, their walk or their overcoming. Let us all remain babes and infants and deny our experiences of Christian faith and life. :emot-questioned:

1Co 3:9  For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
3:10  According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it.
3:11  For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3:12  Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—
3:13  each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.
3:14  If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.
3:15  If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

Our faith is to be in God not in that which God says will not be remembered... after all He wrote down His plans so that we may know what is of value to Him compared to that which has no value at all...
Mark 10:14

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
KJV

Thus the children do not love the things that are passing away for they know they are not being kept
1 John 2:15-17

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
KJV

I personally believe miracles still happen but that is really pointless if you never see or experience it for yourself. And miracles could be happening all the time and the average person may never see one in their lifetime.  But what i have a problem with is those so-called preachers/teachers claiming to have experienced them numerous times and then making you feel guilty for not having seen even one, at least not in how they would define a miracle. Sometimes makes me wonder just how much of those miracles are real and not just exaggerated or fabricated?

As an outsider to the U.S.A. I think that Americans rely on and are influenced by TV Christianity and celebrity pastors & preachers way way too much.

There are Pentecostal churches that thrive in the suburbs with no fanfare and no mega publicity - where everyday "ordinary" peoples live their faith and pray for one another and enjoy the gifts of the Holy Spirit. No blaring of trumpets.

If it is loud, a circus, and full of questionable behaviours then it most likely is not the church of God. There are Bible obedient Pentecostal churches that do it by the book and are full of quiet achievers.

For example, when leaving some friends yesterday to return home Chris asked me to pray for his sister-in-law who is going blind (maybe Diabetic Retinopathy) and I said of course. In our fellowship we often pray one for another. Anyway again this morning I pressed in and had some fervent prayer in tongues for this woman quoting scriptures in my mind as to healing, etc.

Now when she gets a healing there will be no broadcasts and advertising to bring the crowds in. For all our victories are personal and just another story in our testimonies.

Turn off your TV and turn away from the show ponies - get out where real Christian faith is happening -

Mastitis is terribly painful. She was out of luck as the doctors and clinics were closed, it was Friday eve (6th day) beginnings of Sabbath and here in the UK at that time they roll up the sidewalks for the weekend.
I could do nothing but pray - instantly to both our amazements the pain went and she could feed baby. Many small and quiet things like that have happened.
I believe. That is all I can do and God does the rest.

We do it God's way - through the power of his Holy Spirit

James 5:13  Is any among you suffering? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise.
5:14  Is any among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil in the name of the Lord:
5:15  and the prayer of faith shall save the weary one, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.
5:16  Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.

Amen.  Goodness, if we were to throw out all the teachings and instruction having to do with miracles in the bible we wouldn't have much of a bible left.   Who are we to pick and choose anyhow?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
