I will say this, a non denominational forum such as this is better than a denominational forum where every denomination is trying to out shine the rest and there is much more division.

I always thought if we took all Christian religion, put it in a pot and boil it till it simmers down to pure doctrine, that we would have more unity. In other words, let go of religion and embrace simplicity. More peace and joy, less division.

That is a wonderful picture, but it won't happen until Jesus returns and sorts the mess out. The boiling process is partly in the persecution that has followed the church since it began and continues to the present day. I've been told by those from persecuted countries that "religion" doesn't hold up very well when people are dying or being imprisoned because they carry the name of Christ.

Are you using that text to indicate that it applies to the entire Bible?

That would include every Church, every TV preacher, every human being (including Christians).

All have at least to some degree false beliefs and teachings.

This is WHY we must receive biblical interpretations, tutelage, doctrines, yea Truth itself from the Spirit of Truth the Holy Spirit alone who wrote the Bible!

2 Peter 1:20-21 ← AND we are to know this FIRST.

It pertains to the book of Revelation which I see a lot false teaching on Worthy. But it can also pertain to the whole Bible.
