Satan is presently the god of this age and earth, he usurped and inherited it, and the 'title deed' from the fall of Adam. Satan wants to be worshipped above all else; and he will not give that up without a fight. Worship him, or die. 

 

Yes. I think all this is quite easy to see in the scriptures. I know some of it or all of it is spoken of quite a bit by particular groups and others here oppose this idea but I see it pretty clearly. So yes, Satan is the god of this present age even as the Lord God reigns supreme over all creation. The Father has His reasons.

But the coming of the beast is not Satan but rather his instrument, and allowed to rise and act by our Father. 

What is the purpose of unleashing the beast?

Doesn't this mean the 1st beast and Satan are the same entity? Satan wants to become like God, the beast is a blunt instrument.

In theology Ponerology is the study of the origin and nature of evil, and its relation to Divine Government.

God's Judgment of Israel and Judah's persistent idolatry and backsliding by allowing foreign nations to oppress and capture them is a theme that continues through history and into the last days. 

Believing as I do that the Beast from the Sea is a personification of the wickedness of unregenerate humanity it is easy for me to identify this "beasts" characteristics continually on the rise through the ages from antiquity to modernity.

Perfect Completion is the Divine Ideal which Scripture shows God working towards, allowing evil to run its course so that good will triumph.

There is of course much more to it than I have said here . . .

Foolish virgins left behind hv renewed their oil in the great tribulation but defeated by antichrist. 

The remnant of the woman are the Jews outside Judea who did not flee to the wilderness

What is the purpose of unleashing the beast?

In my opinion, the "purpose of unleashing the beast", is one and the same as the reason for the Tribulation: Daniel 9:24 (KJV) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The Jews rejected their Messiah and have been blinded in part. Jesus will not come again until: Matthew 23:39 (KJV) For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

There's much speculation and opinion about the Antichrist, I personally believe he is human. Some interesting things are said about him.

Revelation 17:8 (KJV) The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Revelation 17:11 (KJV) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

There's only two people in the Bible with the name or title "son of perdition"; Judas Iscariot and The Antichrist. The Beast is one of 33 titles and names given to The Antichrist. The way I interpret Revelation 17:8; 17:11, is he once lived, then died, and is coming back [resurrected]? 

At some point [mid Tribulation] I believe Satan himself will indwell and possess the Antichrist; then the persecution and genocide of the Jews will begin in earnest.

God is allowing the Antichrist to rule this world during the 7 year tribulation to bring judgment and wrath to those who are not believers and to this sinful world. Although he will be chained up at the end. He will be unchained at the end of the 1000 year millennium to fight a war with many who have come against Christ at the end of the millennium.

This is nonsense. Quote the scriptures that say this? There aren't any!

Quote the scriptures that have not been massaged by pre-mil doctrine and the like. An 'anti-Christ' currently occupies the Vatican. There are many more too. There is no 7 year anything - that is all churchy hype to keep the people on their toes. 

Feel free to quote scriptures without doctoring Daniel and Revelation to suit that narrative. Thanks.
