It looks impotent on the surface as it doesn't have the authority to make a country do or not do something, However the different sections and the NGO's that are both affiliated and even been set up by the UN carries a lot of weight as to things that are promoted.     Our school curriculum is a good example of that.   

In the early 80s people of the new age religion moved into the upper levels of most of the UN departments and if you are unlucky enough to have interfaced with them in the mid to upper 80s you could have asked and they would openly tell you that they were setting up the structure for the Antichrist to rule the world.

While the UN does not have global authority to rule everyone, they do control a lot of what people are taught and suggestions that bypass governments and go to local leaders is where their power structure is.   The original Agenda 21 that has evolved into Agenda 2030 sets standards for local city and state governments to make local rules that help set their agendas in motion.   The overall agenda is a global Antichrist ruled world government and accomplishing the thousands of small things to make it work.

I would have been a bit young in the mid-80's; and across the continent.

I'm not a big fan of the UN by any stretch. This scenario sounds like it has way too many moving parts.

Satan is behind it and he is the ultimate organizer on planet earth.....    and he has a lot of help...    as dedicated as most Christians, and yes they do know what they are doing.

The beauty of your position is that you could be right one day, but you can never be wrong. The goal posts can be moved infinitely into the future.

Helps to have been on the inside back in the mid 80s and interfacing with people face to face and watching it come about....    keeping in mind that it isn't something being forced on the world, but something they slowly get people to agree with.  Satan pretty much has control of the world through our freewill.  He doesn't have the authority to just take over the world yet, so he has his followers who have free will to do it with him.

This does have the mouth of a lion,feet from a bear,its end time related and it's evil..
