And He identifies those who come against Israel from the "far north" or "the remote parts of the north":

Ezekiel 38:6:......"Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops...."

Beth-togarmah (house of Togarmah)  is located in Asia Minor. 

Ezekiel writes:...... "Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog"

Gog is a person and Magog is in Asia Minor.

He continues...."the prince of Rosh"..... Rosh is not a country. It means "Head or chief"

Continuing...." the prince (head) of Meshech and Tubal"....... 

Meshech and Tubal are in Asia Minor.

So what is Ezekiel prophesying?

Gog ( a leader from the land of Magog, [Asia Minor] ) is going to lead an attack with the troops from Asia Minor, (Meshech, Tubul, Gomer, Togarmah ), together with the troops from North Africa ( Ethiopia and Put ) and troops from Persia  ( Iran) against Israel, Jerusalem is their target. 

This is not Russia!

Read Ezekiel 38:6.

It tells us exactly where the "remote parts of the north" are.

" Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops"

This in from Ezekiel's point of view. How would his readers have known anything about Norway or Sweden, Finland or Russia. They wouldn't have.

Is there a scripture that tells us that they burned their weapons for seven years, that this was done?

Ezekiel 38:16.... God says that this war occurs "in the last days"

In verse 20 He says that "the mountains will be cast down".... (levelled)

In 39:7 God says " I will not let My Holy Name be profaned anymore"..... this has obviously not happened yet.

Mount Zion is in the far north of the city part of Jerusalem.  

`Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the CITY  of our God in His holy MOUNTAIN. Beautiful for elevation, the joy of the whole earth is MOUNT ZION on the SIDES OF THE NORTH, the city of the great king.` (Ps. 48: 1 & 2)

Heb. `tsaphon,` in Ps. 48 refers to in Israel. However when referring to the FAR NORTH, it is the northern quarter of the earth.

Strong’s Definitions [?](Strong’s Definitions Legend)

צָפוֹן tsâphôwn, tsaw-fone'; or צָפֹן tsâphôn; from H6845; properly, hidden, i.e. dark; used only of the north as a quarter (gloomy and unknown):—north(-ern, side, -ward, wind).

KJV, WEB..... "the house of Togarmah of the north quarters"

These versions all have the house of Togarmah (Beth-togarmah) as from:

YLT....."sides of the north"

DBY....." uttermost north"

LXX...."from the end of the north"

Brenton's English Septuagint Apostolic... "from the extreme north"

 

IT doesn't matter which version a person uses, Scripture says that  Beth-togarmah is the far north, distant north, uttermost north, extreme north, the house of Togarmah of the north quarters!....the house of Togarmah from the far north!

Beth-tagormah is not in Russia. 

It is Gog who will lead the attack against Israel. 

Gog of the land of Magog....... TURKEY!!!!!!!!..... Not Russia!
