I wonder if folks have ever given thought to the many thousands of believers since Pentecost across the world, who had no bibles available to them…for many centuries and how they managed?

Our Father in heaven speaks to us in many ways, but let us not forget that the Holy Spirit is the WORD, just as JESUS CHRIST is the WORD. Our Father tells us to study His Word so that we might understand what He wants us to understand. Today, we have the Sctiptures in a wonderful book known as the Bible.  It is written.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

- Isaiah 40:28 (NKJV)

Rosie, good morning!  I wholeheartedly agree with you.

All blessings flow from God.  He is the one who created us!:)  Before even a word is on our lips, He knows it completely.  He whispers in our ear, “This is the way; now walk in it.”  So let us express our gratitude and love for Him by reading the letter He wrote to us, for the Truth will certainly set us free.  02C46E5C-EFE2-4FDF-A042-EC8B48DB117F.gif.a389b142e7f5dceaf978f6547da68ede.gif

So, everything that is pleasing to God, is all contained in the Bible is it?

That's what God claims yes

2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV)

[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Does that state thoroughly furnished or not?

A quote from Nelson Bible commentary:
3:17 The study of Scripture will make a believer complete, meaning “capable” or “proficient.” Thoroughly equipped means “fully prepared.” The person who masters the Word of God will never lose his or her way. every good work: Paul emphasizes the essential link between knowing God's Word and applying it to one's daily life. Right doctrine should produce right practice.

He can give and take away, that’s also biblical....and that can mean many different things, which is not spoken of in the Bible....just that he can give and take away.....he can place me in a different church, he can do whatever is “ pleasing” to Him....biblical....

he disciplines his children, biblical...does it tell you how he disciplines his children, each and everyone of them in the bible...NO it doesn’t, but he sure chastises and disciplines...his word and all biblical.

We are brought into existence in a finite nursery and yes God is outside of His Own Creation... God's Word came from God to us in this finite nursery and God says it is sufficient here to guide us into all truth...

I think it error to pit God against His Word... Read Psalms 119!

ennob is strictly concentrated on the bible, and can’t see outside of it, that is my opinion.....

He can’t see that God can do what ever is pleasing to him....I may be wrong, but that’s what I see, you must read your bible to be saved, that’s enoob belief.

God's says that faith is all that can please Him
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God also says where the source of this faith comes from
Romans 10:17 (KJV)

[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So I will just let you draw you own conclusions to this...

You aren’t understanding my post, you are adding your own understanding to it.

God can do what ever pleases him, I too can quote scripture.

Gods ways are much higher than ours, so, are His thoughts...that’s his word..God works outside of the Bible that imo you tend to limit him too....his creation for a start..

For a start i was regenerated having never read a bible, you don’t believe that...so, I’m not surprised what followed in this post.

One can study the word as much as they like, without the Holy Spirit guiding you through scripture....you guide yourself.

The Holy Spirit is my leader and I only look to him.

It was that mastering the bible that you spoke...red flag for me, sorry..not true..my belief...we master nothing.

The one who is regenerated/ born again etc...will never lose their way, because they walk in the Spirit.they were bought at a price, adopted by God into his kingdom, we are in the world, but we are not of the world, we are children of the most high.

born again, the true  children of God.

In our daily lives we walk in the spirit, the living spirit of Jesus, we don’t walk through the bible..

we will have to agree to disagree in this matter...

Faith is all that can please the Father, but you have to be regenerated/ born again/ Alive In Christ, by God..he testifies to your spirit  that you are his child , without that you have nothing..no relationship with God, He does the drawing and he does the regenerating...you can not rebirth yourself,  it must  be delivered to your spirit...not your head/ mind...you must know you are born again through the Spirit...not by your own senses or emotions.

The Word of God says it is through faith we believe and are regenerated
1 Peter 1:5 (KJV)

it is through faith unto salvation... not salvation unto faith...

[18] Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

We only serve one master, his name is Jesus.

You must receive the new spirit, the spirit of Christ, without that you have nothing, he brings our spirit to life in Christ.

Calvinism does not fit the Biblical narrative not even a little bit... faith precedes regeneration

Disagree, we are drawn to Jesus, regenerated, then we walk in faith with the Holy Spirit.

One must know have it testified to their spirit by God , that they are regenerated, that is when the relationship with Christ begins.

Now you just have to show me Scripture where God says this... I've shown you tons and to this point not one calvinist has shown me one verse that says you must be regenerated to have faith...  seriously what is the point of faith described here
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)

[11:1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
If you are already regenerated by God in order to have it?

Or better if faith comes by hearing or intake of God's Word like God says
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

[17] So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

what is this faith you speak of that does not even need God's Word to produce it?

The Word Brings Salvation
16But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” 17Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. 18But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”…Romans   10:16-18

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
