Each time I ponder this very thing, the passage of scripture you shared with us comes to mind. I know that all of us have witnessed a work of God in this life that we experience a loss of words to describe, and for me that has been our Father's undying love for His wayward daughter.

It's too precious and holy to sully with my words! So, remembering how the Lord blessed us even while we see darkly and know only in part at this present time, there is something He has promised to us when the time comes. This is so significant to me because for all of my life, there always comes a time when I have to go.

Here is His promise:

The one who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and He will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. (Revelation 3:12 NASB)

The time to leave will never come again, and I will never have to go. Being with Him for eternity is the greatest honor I could possibly dream of. It's too precious and holy for my words!

Wonderfully said, brother!

I neglected the fun part! I'm convinced that what awaits us is going to be so fun, that we could write and write about it (or talk the ears off each other) until it's time to go home. :)

Here's what's going to be so much fun: meeting the apostles. Can we imagine that? I've always said that Paul is our eldest and dearest friend, so meeting him is going to be a treat like no other.

Oh, and for me especially, I can't wait to meet Agur, the author of my favorite Proverb (30).

Well Since God knows my musical talent does not exsist  I can almost guarantee  there will be no fluffy white clouds and harps for me  nor will I be calling enoob " uncle " .I cannot even imagine how  God can keep so many different souls happy and content  ( it is hard to keep half a dozen children from having something to moan about lol )   and I can only pray that we are all changed into better  " beings " as here  on earth  humans are so not the nicest of beings towards one another   I most look forward to being reunited with my two sons that have gone before me   and having all tears wiped but I also look forward to God cleansing my heart and my thoughts of any lingering resentment  for people that have harmed me and I know that although I have forgiven them I have not forgotten and that is something I REALLY want to be able to do  :th_praying:

I think we will be in a constant state of worship and wonder while being very busy. Not idle at all.

The universe is large and I think will be filled.

God works and so will we.

I think.

Afternoon @Selah7 😊

I must confess that when I think of our Eternal Home, I guess the word 'fun' has never come to mind...

being with our Lord, in complete Peace, Joy, Worship, Eternal Rest, being completely free from this world of sin and it's devastating effects...just some of the things I'm looking forward to 😊

Here’s something to pause and meditate upon …. selah

I don’t think any of us have any idea how much fun eternity is going to be.  I wonder just what kind of excitingly awesome things our Father has planned for His kids.  Now I don’t imagine we’ll be floating around on fluffy white clouds playing little harps, though it might be fun for a while; but before long, we’d get totally bored because the eternity is an extremely long period of time!  So what does God have in store for us?  Eternity will undoubtedly exceed our wildest dreams because …

Thus saith the Lord: 14D40F20-E125-48A2-ADEF-DC87E7557E8B.gif.b7db0f8309c4ebbf86b19999fac2b4b3.gif

But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

- 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)

So, what do you think we’ll be doing in the Eternity?

in Christ, Selah

Eternity is going to be amazing.

The one that will be fun for me to meet will be Ezekiel.  I enjoyed his book in the Bible.  I also enjoyed Daniel.  So I look forward to meeting him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
