This is pretty much how I feel about it. During the last US presidential election I looked into various elements of our election process more than I ever had before. There's a lot of manipulation that goes on it, and it's used to shape the political landscape. If people believe a majority says a certain thing many will just go along with it or soften their views.

I wonder what the reaction would be if we had a STRAIGHT AND PROUD OF IT  month  complete with parades and  all the banner waving ?

Dont any of these people understand the word pride ?they dress in clown outfits and yell to the world about their sexual expliots and dont appear to realise NO ONE CARES what they get up to IN PRIVATE   ....if hetrosexual people did this we would be arrested for offending public decency

I'd also doubt the statistics based on societal pressures. Many people refuse to state their stances, even outside of homosexuality, for fear of what happens. Twitter even vaguely thinks you have an opinion, well... Bye bye job, hello harassment.

Greetings sister, and I think this goes to point. Some may already be kowtowing to public pressure, and if so how many more will do so in the future? In effect, even if some are doing it already, the poll is accurate in terms of how many are presently willing to stand up and be counted and how many are now becoming increasingly afraid to.
