If the Creator always gave someone good Bible verses without them being considered Bible scholars, and always revealed a lot of insight to them concerning the Bible, and then they lost their soul, did they ever belong to him to begin with?

Sorry I called you brother.

OK, sister.  Let me ask you this.  Are you a Christian?  Have you been saved - born again?  That's important in answering this question you have here.

I don’t believe in organized religion, I’ve always been a believer, but I’m confused.  I’ve done something irreversible.

Without having to tell me what you have done, why do you think it is irreversible?

Do you have a personal testimony of when you were not a Christian and how you became one?

Our Bible speaks of two kinds of people. There are those who are carnally minded and those who are spiritual. It is not hard for those who are truly spiritual minded to recognize those who carnal minded, however it is not our place to Pase judgment or figure out who is saved or not saved.

I think not.

God's seed cannot bear devilish fruit.

But if one is still alive, there is a chance to "get it right".

Well said. It's our place to encourage others who struggle, remembering how we have also struggled. Phil gives a good word in his post above which complements yours.

This is hard for some to understand, how the Lord might permit us to fall flat on our face not because He doesn't love us, but for our own good so we'll learn that we are only men and women after all. It's our place to reap the fruit of what we sow even if only for a little while.

Every name is written in the Lamb's book of life. You have to be blotted out. Some people believe our names are written at the foundation of the world.

Exodus 32:32
Yet now, if You would only forgive their sin.... But if not, please blot me out of the book that You have written."

Revelation 3:5
Like them, he who overcomes will be dressed in white. And I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and His angels.

If I understood your question correctly,  the answer is no.  Simply having scriptural knowledge and hearing a word from God does not make you saved.  There will be lots of people in Hell who knew scripture inside and out and who heard words from God, but they didn't know him as Savior. Knowledge has nothing to do with salvation.  Only a relationship with Christ gives you salvation.

First "If the Creator always gave someone" who is someone? If they are of the world, the only (in my eyes) verses GOD would be revealing  to them would be so they see Christ as the messiah. So it leads to Him to them repenting. Now if the "someone" is a believer and they "lost their soul". Now its purely running with speculation. All this now will be answered by those in one of the camps. That being "osas vs you can lose your salvation".

Well I only have this moment... we were not promised tomorrow so one will have to speculate which can be fun but in the end its just speculation. For me jumping on lol the speculate train for one to lose your soul you one would KNOW not ever ever wonder guess but know Christ is the way the truth and the life and freely then after have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come and then walk away....  I see no other way to lose your soul for most I mean most are blind. We know some truth but not all. Like Satan he knows all seen it been there then leaves..why would he want to come back? Now us.. we have only see darkness at best a sliver of light not all the wonders and glory and even seen GOD in all His glory and power. We are blind. haha we can't even agree salvation as is John 3:16/Rom 10:9-10. Shall we talk about sinners pray.

So how are we going to know "lose your soul" https://worthychristianforums-h45go6maxh5rpepgu.netdna-ssl.com/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png were blind.

First how do you know a soul is lost, especially inlight of what you said, a Creator giving someone good Bible verses, does God just get up and mosey on. Doesn't scripture say never leave you or forsake you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
