Why did Jesus say "I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God."?

As I intimated, 1/3 of the globe's trees and green grass will be burnt up, but where? It takes fervent heat to burn green vegetation, which sounds like a geographically localized extinction event. The center of the Antichrist’s activity (Israel and the middle east) does not appear to suffer from this event.

Always good and beneficial to talk with you bro. Yes we see these things unfolding as you rightly say. 

As to the modes of transport across the oceans to Jerusalem, I was talking to my hubby and he said perhaps steam ships, and I thought of the great sailing ships. From the USA across the `pond,` to England and then over the channel to France and down the coast around Spain and on through the Mediterranean to Israel.  

And here is Australia similar ships and island hopping. 

Just a few suggestions that I think feasible after the global earthquake and devastation of the 7 years.

Also we need to remember that the grass does grow again and the fresh living water from the Mount of Olives will make a lot of trees to grow fruitful in the millennium.

I have thought about the modes of transportation you suggested crossing the ocean by steam or sail, and I do not have an answer, but I am thinking out loud. If by sail, the voyagers would spend the better part of their life on a boat going back and forth annually from America to Jerusalem.

Going by steam still requires technology, obsolete expertise, human resources, support, material resources, and manufacturing to produce the ships, replace parts, and maintain them. One cannot scavenge parts for something if they do not exist.

Yes, the green grass and trees will grow back quickly; however, it takes widespread, intense heat to burn green grass. In addition, about one-third of the earth has no green grass and trees (elevation, deserts, polar caps, arid regions, etc.).

To mention again, our side of the hemisphere contains about 33% of the globe’s trees and green grass, coincidence?

The fervent heat to burn a third of all green grass and trees suggests the death of everything above ground. I think of the wind and wildfires in California and Australia as examples, and humans and animals caught in them perish.

Is one-third of all trees and green grass sporadic scattered in pockets all around the globe, or is it centralized to a specific geographic location? I highly suspect the latter.

Should that be the case, an asteroid impact, volcanic activity, massive solar flare, or Coronal mass ejection (CME) could be the cause. It could also be a supernatural event directed by the Lord. In many instances, though, the Lord uses His creation and nature to carry out judgment.

This event would also have a cascading effect from 1/3 of the earth burning. The emission and plume of just one volcano generally will circle the globe and drop large quantities of ash. Imagine 1/3 of the earth set on fire.

I also mentioned Israel, the middle east, and Antichrist’s plans and actions do not seem to be affected or altered by this burning event. Therefore, I speculate this event does not occur in the middle east but elsewhere. But where?

All the signs and conditions for the coming Tribulation have converged and are visible with each passing day and news report. If the Tribulation is near, and I believe it is, America is still an economic and military superpower. The #1 question American Christians ask pertaining to the end times.

Where is America in biblical prophecy? America is in some way removed as a power, the Antichrist conquers a number of nations and controls the globe. America is not one of them, we are not mentioned. Of course, there are other alternatives. 

Is there any biblical precedent when an abomination becomes the law of the land? Who is the globe’s largest exporter of pornography? What nation is consumer driven and lusts of the flesh? What abomination has been legalized, promoted, celebrated, our capital lit up in God’s rainbow colors, a right not to be discriminated against or disparaged, a protected class, hate speech?

Has America become a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah? How were they judged and destroyed?

Yes some interesting thoughts there. I see your reasoning.  I also see that ALL the green grass will be burnt up. (Rev. 8: 7) This would cause great food shortages - animals eat grass, and grass is saved in bales for later, grass - wheat, barley, (flours) canola, (oil) etc make many products from flour, oil, like bread, cake, biscuits, puddings etc. Thus great hardship. Of course it will grow back but in the meantime ....

The A/C deceives the nations of the world. The nations still continue but are under the A/C`s power through the `mark` `buying and selling,` and the elites desire for the Global Government. 

As to America, it came from the mother lion which had eagle`s wings which were plucked off. (Dan. 7: 4). They were trodden down by the terrifying beast, (Islam) but allowed to continue with their dominion taken away when the Lord set`s up His rulership through Israel over the nations. (Dan. 7: 12) Thus America`s government will be judged along with ALL the Gentile governments of that day. (Times of the Gentiles ruling the world will be finished. Luke 21: 24)
