The first four of the seven feasts occur during the springtime (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Weeks), and they all have already been fulfilled by Christ in the New Testament.

It's commonly passed around that the spring feasts have been fulfilled. Has the barley harvest occurred? Has the wheat harvest occurred? The spring feasts will not be fulfilled until the harvests have occurred.

The final three holidays (Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles) occur during the fall, all within a short fifteen-day period.

The day and hour of the Feast of Trumpets is not known year to year. It is logical and possible the Rapture of the church may fall on a year of the Feast of Trumpets. One hundred trumpet blasts concludes the feast, with the very last shofar blast the loudest and longest. The following video explains it well:

It is not likely that the church will be raptured in the fall. The Church are the dead in Christ and the alive that remain, barley and wheat harvest. The fall harvest is for the seed of the woman.

Very true, we do not know the day nor the hour. But there sure seems to be a pattern with the feasts as I briefly alluded.

There is a pattern with the feasts that will be complete at the millennial reign. That said, the spring feasts were not fulfilled with the coming of Jesus, His death, and resurrection as there has been no harvests. Only the first fruits of the grain harvests have be completed. After the grain harvest of the barley and wheat then there will be 144,000 first fruits for the fall fruit harvest. We know the first fruits will be of the 12 tribes, so the harvest will be of the 12 tribes (the seed of the woman)

@The Light I love how the Resurrection is fulfilment of the feast of firstfruits:

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept." (1 Cor. 15.20).

PS: I do think it's a bad idea to speculate about exact dates. For example, in the OT, look what happened to the prophets who prophesied something that subsequently did not happen........

Farouk,

There is a big difference to speculating about dates and prophesying about events to happen. Here is his original quote.

"2. So, what this means is that I am back to my original guess at the year of the resurrection and rapture: roughly April 2023 through March 2024. This is 7 years before the likely 6000th year, roughly April 2030 through March 2031, exactly 2000 years after the likely year of Jesus' crucifixion, resurrection and ascension: 30 AD. God's years run roughly April through March (Exodus 12:2), so that is the reason for the years above.

I myself think it is wise to watch and find reasons why the rapture is at the door. It brings readiness to the forefront. We need to be watching and ready. We, of course, need to be wise enough to realize there are no guarantees.

Well said.

The question is WHY is it a bad idea to speculate upon prophetic dates?

It's a bad idea because church types neglect to remember the calendar they like to reference is the Gregorian calendar, which wasn't adopted by Europeans until October 1592.   Biblical date references depend upon the Hebrew calendar.   Thus the current Biblical year is NOT 2023.

The current Hebrew year is: Elul 5782 - Tishrei 5783.

In other words, post-modern predictions by church types are usually wrong because they don't know what day or year it is.

The primary principle of Biblical prophecy is that it's predictions center upon the State of Israel and it's King - Jesus.

Details of Biblical prophecy, such as the restoration of Israel as a sovereign nation among the family of nations, are calculated according to the YEAR OF JUBILEE.  (*)

Jubilee was specified as a benchmark or point of origin for future events in the LAW of Moses.  Unfortunately Moses died before the 1st Jubilee could be observed.  Joshua never celebrated it either and over the years the beginning of the count of days and years was forgotten. When Jesus was asked WHEN Israel would be restored as a sovereign nation He reminded His audience of this fact of forgetfulness.   (Matt 11:27)  In other words, Jesus admonition was arithmetic not metaphysical.  Nobody knew when the count of years was to start......

In the post-modern church, profit rather than prophet is more important than spiritual edification.

Any interpretation that brings in money is the one that's accepted. For the most part these predictions are bogus and should be ignored (except by the IRS which takes notice of monetary success).

Consequently, ALL predictions based upon the Gregorian calendar will fail.  Church types who believe them end up looking like fools - as they deserve.

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

(*) The prophecy was fulfilled in June 1967 (Gregorian) when the IDF liberated the Old City of Jerusalem.  (Luke 21:24) Indeed, the fortunes of the gentile church began to whither from that date to the present.   The church is in decline and the State of Israel is rising to prominence among all nations due to God's plan of redemption - which does NOT include church membership.

Good to keep 'looking unto Jesus' (Hebrews 12.2) rather than to calendar arithmetic.

RESURRECTION AND RAPTURE ROUGHLY BETWEEN APRIL 2023 AND APRIL 2024?

Yep roughly, give or take roughly three thousand years the way I see it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
