This is not answering my question.

[Did Adam and Eve sinned BEFORE this?]

Someone said "I believe Adam and Eve sinned BEFORE the eating of any tree..."

my response

Do you have any scriptural support for this?
That Adam and Eve sinned BEFORE the eating?

Now you ask me a question not related to my question, how's this for communication.

Yes I do.

No I don't care to.

Does it strike anyone as strange that to the Serpent there was no command given, nor question asked, but just judgment pronounced?  And what a strange judgment it is.  Cursed above all cattle and beast of the field?  How cursed are they anyhow?

Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Of course, this all leads to more questions, like why was Satan in the garden in the first place? And why was he called a serpent and compared to other beasts of the field, instead of the fallen angelic being he really was? I believe there is some symbology there.

I believe so too! As we wait with bated breath and anticipation for an answer of anything above. What did you get yourself into their Starise LOL!

Good afternoon DeighAnn,

I have some interesting thoughts on that question. But I’m not going to steal anyone’s thunder 😊 Perhaps Starise voluntarily applied for full-time employment with this single thread that I am enjoying. I’ll not bite the hand that feeds me LOL!

This thread has the makings to set Worthy records if it does not get spoiled and locked. I have already noticed Starise needs to submit for plenty of overtime, as he is getting way behind. I still have hundreds of questions on my mind I would like to submit for an answer.

As my old grandpappy used to say, “son, be careful what you ask for, you just may get it.”   :24:

God began His plan of redemption long before Adam and Eve became. What we see is not all there is. Much more is happening 'behind the scenes ' of which we are not always made aware of.  And some things we are made aware of indirectly. Why?. In some things all we have is Isaiah 55:8-12-

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts."

one such 'indirect' way of 'bringing us into the loop' is the story of Job.
why are there no similar questions about the presence of Satan in Jobs life? Why do we not question this event like we do in the event at the garden of Eden?
Because God gave us a behind the scenes look at Satan going before God,  and God allowing Satan to do what he did. And why it was necessary.
I  believe, in the spirit, that the same thing happened in the full event of the garden of Eden.
And why?
Salvation.

Why the need to do that...

I am not telling you what to do, but it's not allowed...it questions your credibility.

What does it mean to be in Christ?

Thank you for this question...

It's not a simple one... because Jesus has many books where he writes the names of those that cannot be condemn...

One of the book is of his Servants, his prophets...

Another about the disciples who abide in the vine...another of the disciples who are on and off the vine...another one for the disciples who have given their royalty to their profess group and bow down to them and with their permission to him...according to the book of revelation in the description of the seven churches...

There others who brass him at the side...in this Life...

****  This is a false statement to say

that God said that you will be like Angels knowing good and evil.

In KJV we read that God did not say that you will be like Angel's...

He said this and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Genesis 3:5 KJV

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened,

and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

*****  I genesis 3:22 posted below the Lord God said this.

*** it is a heretic statement to call the Lord God the Creator of all and man, who was predestined to be the Lamb slaughter before the foundation of the world for the forgiveness for our sins "an Angel...".

the word in the Gospel of John 1: is not called an Angel, but God from God who created all the Angels and everything that was created and then the man Adam.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
