Why do so many NDEs appear to confirm reincarnation. What do you all think??

In what way do any NDEs confirm reincarnation? I've never heard that suggestion before.

My mother had several NDEs as a child, though without ever being near death. (It was the effect of the anaesthetic used by the dentist whenever she had teeth removed). She found them terrifying (probably because she wasn't dying and so couldn't explain the sensations in a satisfactory way). So personally, I believe they are "real" experiences but not necessarily true experiences of death.

Yes, I believe NDEs are real.  I have never had one but I have had family members and friends that have had ND/out-of-body experience, where they died, left their bodies but could still see their body and other people in a room and hear them talking and was able to tell them what they were talking about in detail after they came back into their body.

It is interesting, and I think they are real, also. I do not know much about the subject, and I have more questions than answers. NDEs seem to be the exception rather than the rule. There also seems to be a supernatural element involved with many. Medical science cannot explain the phenomenon.

Thomas Horn has a very believable testimony on his NDE. According to Horn, he was given a remarkable prediction about the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI to the day. Popes die in office; they don’t resign or retire. He published a best-selling book about his vision a year in advance. Sure enough, to the day, Benedict officially resigned as Horn predicted, and Horn gave the reasons for the resignation.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

This question arises. Are there modern-day prophets, or is all prophecy contained in what the Bible records? I have always believed in the latter. “IF” there are modern-day prophets, we can only know after the fulfillment of an event, 100% accurate, 100% of the time. The OT conceals God’s plan, and the NT reveals God’s plan.

Dr. Thomas Horn also had an alarming vision about the coming asteroid Apophis and wrote a book about it. If anyone is interested, they can buy the book. Horn makes a compelling case that this “Apophis” could be “Wormwood.”

It would be interesting to know how many NDEs true born-again believers have c.f. non-believers. Is it possible that at the very last moment, before a person gives up their eternal soul, they will cry out mentally for Jesus to save them and believe? What about the millisecond before a high-speed head-on automobile crash? How is it possible that a person’s entire life can flash before their eyes in less than one second under extreme duress?

Could some of these NDEs be deceptions from the demonic supernatural world to prevent the Salvation of some souls?

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. [emphasis added]

What are these fiery darts, and where and how do they enter us?

Hello, www.gotquestions.org  we need a little help here.  😊

I'd like to see the actual stats on this...like first off how do they confirm it and how do you know a lot of them? What's your source? What percentage is a lot? Etc.

I am pretty sure there is no way to confirm supernatural experiences using scientific methods.   Many people have had these experiences and I don't believe they are making this stuff up.

Paul writes about where he knew someone that went up into the third heaven and said he was unable to confirm if it was in the body or out-of-body but said this person saw things that they were not able speak about.

Ezekiel had a supernatural experience while he was living in Babylon, where God took him supernaturally to Jerusalem to show him all the abominations that were taking place at the Temple.

Apostle John, wrote about his supernatural experience, where God called him up to heaven to show him things about the future and to write about them.

Many other cases in the bible such as Enoch, Elijah, Lazarus, Phillip, etc....

I'm not asking anyone to confirm them-Im asking the op, or whomever to back up their claim. Which can be done scientifically.

The claim is a lot of NDEs confirm reincarnation. Well, what percentage is a "lot" and what actual % of NDEs confirm reincarnation?

At which point what kind of NDE actually confirms reincarnation? No definition here from the OP.

If that claim cannot be substantiated, then it cannot be said NDEs confirm reincarnation.

NDE yes, although sources are to be taken lightly.

Reincarnation is a lie of the devil." It is appointed to men ONCE to die. After that the judgement".

The bible speaks against reincarnation.

True.  Now, I want to be clear.  I don't personally believe in reincarnation. Can't imagine coming back to this jacked up world.  However, I can't deny that so many NDEs mention what they interpret as reincarnation.  I personally think it is being confused with the reality that we are all connected to God, so one can see other people's lives, and it can feel as if it is them personally.

Reincarnation is not biblical. I do not support NDE's.

How about a great majority that see Jesus?

What great majority? Explain.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
