Omegaman Passed Away on December 12, 2022

I can't remember a time without omega...the dude was solid. When the rest of worthy went up and down you could count on him to remain steady. Even his way of rebuking his brothers with his quick wit and humor was always welcome. He will be missed here, but he is home and that is a good thing.

Omega is one of the first people I met on Worthy. He never did anything rashly and always approached things thoughtfully and prayerfully. He was a fine example of a man of God, and I'm certain that he's quite happy where he is right now. On this earth, though, he will be missed.

I just confirmed from @Omegaman 3.0 daughter that Omega has passed away.

I've known Omega for nearly 20 years and he will surely be missed.  He was a close friend and brother in arms in many of the battles we've endured on Worthy.  There are few people I trusted more than Omega.

Truly he's enjoying LIFE now ... and so I just wanted to celebrate his life.

One moment you're here, the next you're not. It's the strangest sensation to experience when someone passed over to the other side.

The Apostle Paul assures us in 2 Corinthians 5:8 that in Christ; to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Omega is

with our LORD. Hallelujah! Glory to God in the Highest!

But what a hole that absence leaves here!

1 Thessalonians 4:13 says we do not grieve like the rest of (unbelieving) humanity who has no hope...

we DO grieve... just not like those who have no hope.

Comfort us, O LORD, through our grief over the passing of our Dear Dear Brother. 

Come, LORD Yeshua Jesus!

I wasn't going to go into this, George... but it may be of some comfort to Omega's daughter and any kinfolk he has.

My Beloved Bride had a vision of her Dear Sweet Mother after she passed from cancer. In the vision she saw her Mother

looking younger and stronger than she'd ever looked in many years. She was at peace. Happy. Almost aglow. And she spoke:

"I am well."

Knowing my Dear Sweet Mother-in-law as well as I do (she was more of a mother to me in many ways than my own mother was)

and knowing how much she cared for and worried for her daughter (my Beloved Bride)... I just know she had to have the Lord send

her daughter that message to truly be at peace even in heaven.

I'm certain Omegamann would pass along a similar message to his loved ones.

Grief Will Turn to Joy

Then some of His disciples asked one another, “Why is He telling us, ‘In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?” They kept asking, “Why is He saying, ‘a little while’? We do not understand what He is saying.”

Aware that they wanted to question Him, Jesus said to them, “Are you asking one another why I said, ‘In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me’?

Truly, truly, I tell you, you will weep and wail while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman has pain in childbirth because her time has come; but when she brings forth her child, she forgets her anguish because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy"             John 16

This is a very sad day for the family of God.  We will miss him very much. Take heart however that he is enjoying Heaven and taking to his Savior.  The day of a believers death is a very difficult one for those who are left behind,  but for the believer himself,  it is the greatest day ever because they pass into the wonders of Heaven and all the comfort and love that entails. We should all look forward to that day with great anticipation,  and we should also not let another moment pass without telling those we love how we feel about them.
