Oh the memories and tales I have of kayaking  on sit on top kayaks through Florida rivers with the gators, snakes and wild monkeys occasional deer bear and otters, plus the intercoastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico.  One  hasn't lived until  seeing an otter going flying into the air beside you as you sit on top a bit o plastic, and then see it land as a snack in the wide open pink of a gator's mouth. Like so much popcorn to it. Even as we marveled we did wonder just what are we doing here!

Once came around a blind corner on a fast moving part of the Juniper River  tributaries and spooked two large gators that were sunning on the sand there. Never knew gators could jump and hightail it, literally pushing themselves backwards on their toes in stunned fright. Evidently they were afraid of the big blue plastic monster stroking madly fast  into their hang out.

But hey who want to hear of such tales.

You are such a wild library. I was fun of animal documentary till everything went down. I feel I am watching directly from the screen

God does provide, even in the fallen creation, doesn't he.  It is hard to starve in Free Florida. Heart of palm salad, oysters scallop in the bays, mullet, shark Gator and yes some mighty big water snakes too.

We once had 25 acres o' isle out off the Little Homasassa. Couldn't starve, though hard living, plus the DEA wouldn't leave us alone out there. Buzzing our little spot of paradise with their planes seeking out the bad guys of the world. Some of the family stuck it out there for years but eventually gave it up too. It had fresh water brackish water and salt water depending on tides and seasons. Nobody but nobody could get there less they were very determined to risk limb and life. Ah old memories, now I am just a comfortable old geezer living the soft life.

God has been kind indeed.

Oh yes, the no see'em's. They love me, finding me sweet to the taste evidently. Everyone is safe from them when I'm around. Plus the deer ticks, always fun to pull them off and then wonder what of lime's disease.

It is better I am afraid to work ever so hard to find some skill, some talent, art, writing, construction skill, even singing, or playing music, something that might generate means of making a living and maybe even prosperity. Gosh, what used to be the bottom of the construction trades hanging drywall can fetch a nice living today.

Like it or not ya just can't get away. Even at sea ya can't get away, for every island will have a visit from the brown suits with their automatic weapons to move one along  if one stays too long.

May God lead, and may each  of us heed when He does.

It is indeed a long hard and harsh trail many of us follow before being turned about from fleeing and instead to mixing with the masses of all classes and sects.

Maybe the harsher experiences  eventually do lead to a greater empathy toward the downtrodden, I don't really know. Mostly though it is just hard, tempered much later with the fog that covers over the worst of it and makes for fond memories to stand out.

What one gains in this world of material assets comes and goes, comes and goes, if at all. But the battle, the will to battle on, makes for interesting days, along with the  receiving so many reveals of God the Father, God the Son, and guidance to be heeded from God the Holy Spirit.

All of it strengthens the hope certain that is the gospel of Jesus as  each of us learns, in ways perhaps unique to each of us, to put on the "full armor" of God.

May God bless.

Yes. I am fun of some great and very wealthy that failed so bad the they needed the help of the public.  Wealth last for a while but the word of God for a life time.

I use to be a good footballer and of course Physics and mathematics teacher but when it was God's time, everything ends. Just like the life we live, it will last while we are here but it is our doing that will give us eternal life

Did you say a bit ago, that you were a school drop-out? Perhaps I misunderstood.

Seems to me if you taught math and physics, that you ought to be able to find a job in some capacity. Being capable of teaching math and physics is no small thing.

Praying for you! I pray that God would guide you in your response to the mockers, enabling you to show them God's love, that the Holy Spirit might move and change them!

Yes. I did English Education. The two English regions in Cameroon have been on lock down since 2016. No school,  No gathering,  no work, serial clashes between government force, African Union Forces, UN forces and the separatist fight.

I will not be able to teach in a French school. The government is doing nowhere to integrate us in the francophone community but instead they are looking for ways to repatriate us to the war zones

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
