It clarifies, but it's still clearly wrong.  There is precisely zero Bible teaching about a "pre-Adamic" race.  Also, since sin entered the world through Adam, and death came by sin, if there had been a pre-Adamic race (there wasn't), they would not have died.

Okay, a little more dialog here addressing this, then . . .

1.  Do you think there was absolute nothingness (and no created beings) before Genesis 1:2 . . . that is, do you think God existed in a sort of vacuum prior to that

2. Yes, sin entering through Adam impacted all his descendants - how could that possibly impact any that were theoretically before Adam?

Then there is the issue with Cain being  concerned about being killed and ask God about it.

Right!  And this presupposes that God sat around doing nothing all alone for eons prior to Genesis 1:2.

So are you saying all the dinosaurs from the Triassic and Jurassic periods, and the Cambrian explosion of new species' is all scientific nonsense? All of Paleontology, Geology, the fossil records, etc. is all fake? I'm not arguing for pre-Adamic humans or Darwinian evolution. But you're proposing a hoodwinking of humanity on an unbelievable scale! This is the same pseudoscience YEC rejection that has turned off many potential Christians to God's word. The truth is you can't cover your eyes and stick fingers in your ears and pretend the data is not out there.
