There's also a generous helping of hypocrisy afoot, yes? Yep. Take a look around this topic, brother. :)

If Adam is present in any way (i.e. the flesh) then yes, an ample supply of hypocrisy is surely here!

Did you read my post or just lazily skim it? Here you go:

Maybe it's confusing because you are unable to absorb change or new information.

I don't know much about aboriginals, because I'm from Israel/Ireland. I believe @ayin jade is married to a native so perhaps she can explain better, but "squaw" is used as a nasty slur against aboriginal women. The word "kike", a slur against Jews, comes from the Yiddish "kikel" which means circle. Obviously "circle" is not an offensive word but it becomes a slur when it is used to express racial/ethnic malice.

In some countries calling people "black" was once considered racist and offensive... it depends on the time and culture. Honestly, I've never heard a black person in the west say they are offended by the word. Back in the old days people used the term "negro"... now times have changed and it's considered retrograde if not outright offensive. Any black users here should please feel free to shed some light on the subject.

Some of that lie vs "untruth", ex-convict vs ex-offender... I've never heard or read such a thing so you'll have to show me where you heard that information.

No I did not mean to direct my post at you in a bad way. I was trying to show how words are softened to make it seem like it is not as bad as it really is. I was brought up a lie is a lie not a lie is an untruth; a thief is a thief not A person with judicial history.  And for the squaw that was directed toward Indians in the U.S. not any where else.

here is a sample of words that are being promoted to not offend offenders

I've addressed this before, and it would be good to do so again.

Our upbringing, experiences, and that work which the Lord created us to walk in combine to make each one of us a unique part of His many-membered Body.

In this, then, I can only speak for myself: apart from our Lord Jesus Christ, I share very little in common with my American brethren. I share more in common with brethren from other parts of this world instead.

Sure, I was born in the United States, but I spent most of my young life living elsewhere. When I say (or write) that I'm from nowhere, that's shorthand for the lifestyle of a transient. Some time ago, I used Google maps to plot all of those places I've lived or otherwise traveled through on this earth, and the end result was perfectly insane. There were little blue flags all over the world map. :o

I didn't know the love of a mother or father, and I didn't have life-long friends. Secure military installations around the Pacific and Europe served as my prison under my parents' roof. I escaped their gaze however and whenever I could (after I acquired a military dependent ID so the MPs at the gate wouldn't detain me), so I spent a great deal of time beyond the confines of those bases. I wasn't "Americanized" to the degree that my fellow Americans were/are.

Therefore, issues that seem to be of great importance to many of you are utterly meaningless to me. I wasn't brought up in a world where the people surrounding me looked like me... sounded like me... or dressed like me. On the contrary, my experience has been the polar opposite.

I neither obsess nor fixate upon how others look, nor am I concerned with what they are doing. I'm only concerned with my own conduct, and I learned how to be polite and respectful to those who don't look like nor behave like I do. That's the fruit of wandering off base for all of those years.

Ah, but this is how the Lord prepared me for the work I have done and continue to do in service to Him! I'm not offended by how others dress, nor am I offended by their conduct; His wisdom is revealed in this way, for the Lord sends me to places where most won't go. I'm accustomed to this on account of my upbringing and experiences.

I've been brought low and stripped of everything except for the life in this body. I've dived in dumpsters looking for food, shivered in the cold, and walked on blisters and tired feet. I have not known a predictable nor comfortable life by any means, so I struggle to understand the offense of some who obsess and fixate upon what others are doing. Does it truly matter?

All that matters is what we ourselves do, my friend. I say that our business is to be about the Lord's business, walking in the manner He provides to us, listening to and obeying His voice.

Who has time to grumble and whine? Neither accomplishes anything worthwhile. Let us remember what happened to the grumblers in the wilderness. :)

This is more in line with my thinking; It was  a decent word may be white men turned it into a slur imo

You could also just say LGBT people and not look for abusive epithets.

They are demanding that you call them by their pronouns now, especially in the schools and universities ect.  Is that acceptable, or are you inclined to obey their demands to be called by their preferred pronouns ?.

If anyone asks you for your pronouns, say "I/me/mine" with a straight face. Let's see how that works out.

I don't give a fig. If you asked me to call you a pyrofox I'd do it because you asked me to. What you call yourself doesn't affect me one iota.

I've been a professional model for years and that industry is full of LGBT people. None of them have done me harm.

Either you are ignorant of the threats that professors and others are faced with for not complying with the demands, yes I said demands that are used to force others to call them their preferences.  Your workplace is not everyone's.

I did not say they harm people, but it has become a ridiculous act to demand people to see them as something that is not natural in nature.  Are they a special species of the human race or are we as a society remaking it to be so.  Lord have mercy.

I sincerely doubt you care about the poor, beleaguered teachers as much as you just can't stand trans people existing

Wow, that's a mind reading statement right there.  So now you know what I like and dislike, you can state what's my beliefs are on what the bible has to say about Romans 1.  Now, I did not write the book, but you can tell me what I think.

Are we heading like in George Orwell 1984 , where the poor fella was eventually forced to admit 2+2= 5.    Sure seems like it with all this parade of what "Pride".  Seriously though, where does it stop.  It does not, no, not till the coming generations are schooled in the way of ......

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
