Seems to me sin  is a universal state of every man/woman since the first Adam, and is not a consequence of  any personal act of sin. Man is sin born of and in sin nature from conception within his mother's womb.

As such very person is an abomination in the sight of God and is unacceptable, as He cannot abide sin.

Therein is the irreconcilable problem for every human. Jesus alone overcame that insurmountable problem of man being sin, sin by nature of this fallen creation since Adam.

All praise, all Glory, is to Jesus, who overcomes even the last enemy death. The glory is not to any church, church body, speaker, nor testimony of man.

None the less God has commanded that all that have been called to their salvation are to share of it by giving testimony of Jesus, of His saving faith by which all that have been given Him by  his Father are saved out from the just wrath of God through the specific call  by the Holy Spirit.

God's Word never says we were born sinners . . . it says we all fell short and sinned.

None of us HAD to sin, and yet because of Adam's sin... sin came in to the world and came "upon" all of us as an opportunity to sin and we all chose to sin at some point in our lives

On the flip side, thru Jesus righteousness has come "upon" all men to provide opportunity to be righteous thru Jesus

Romans 5:12-19
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment CAME UPON all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift CAME UPON all men unto justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Each man is responsible for his own sin... we can see from Ezekiel 18:20 below that God is not holding us responsible for Adam's sin just because he sinned... God is hold us responsible for OUR own sin

Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

You have got to get them lost before you can get them saved. (YES, only Jesus can save)

And only the Holy Spirit can reveal their true condition to them.  We don't have a clue what sin the Lord will put His spotlight on and should never try to nail the person on the one that we think is most glaring.  That too is God's job.  People usually just get in God's way and gum up the works when we try to convict--it usually comes across as condemnation and it is satan who condemns.

Yes, and the Lord reveals to people when they have committed sin and have turned away from Him in to condemnation for the purpose of letting them know they are separated from Him and must confess and forsake their sin in order to have mercy (Proverbs 28:13, 1 John 1:9)

Hi, Somehow that reminds me of a statement  a son made when he was about 11 years old. We had moved some 2800 miles to a new home and new church body. When I asked him about his thoughts on his new to him church group, he responded,"I really like it!" When I asked why he responded "Our old church taught what not to do, this church teaches what to do."

What not to do is as equally important as what to do.

The Lord has left us many warnings and examples in His Word concerning what NOT to do, so it's part of God's wisdom and a part of our growing process.

Well the issue is modern culture interprets "love" as endless affirmation and praise of all one's desires and behaviors. That's a child's idea of love. If you love someone you guide them to the truth and correct them, gently, if you think they are heading to the wrong path. You don't kick someone you love off the proverbial cliff basically.

And yet God's Word says we are not to tell folks like this "God bless you" because doing so make us partakers of their evil deeds!

2 John 1:9-11
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

You know, the religious leaders that claimed to be following God but weren't

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
