Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In other words, the answer to your question is found in...

Hi Abdull,

Biblical Theology teaches that BECAUSE Adam sinned all are counted sinners, all are under the curse of death which is the penalty for sin. Christ redeems sinners from the penalty, power, and presence of sin, so before Creation came to be, the sacrifice of Christ the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world was ordained. As our Lord and Saviour, Christ has paid the ransom price for our redemption.

Check it out.

Rom 5:12  Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned.
Rom 5:19  For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
1Co 15:21-22  For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.  (22)  For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

And to clarify, we were all in Adam. So he, as the head of the human race, passed that fallen nature to all of us.

But hallelujah, we are now in the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, the second, new man - and His righteousness is now passed to all regenerated believers!

The good news

"Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even so to them,
for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12

"For this, do not steal, do not commit adultery... and if there be any other command
it is summed up briefly in this saying, namely; Love your neighbor as yourself,
love works no ill to his neighbor therefore love is the fulfilling of the law"
Romans 13:8-10

Eating pork is a sin.
Wearing mixed fabric is a sin.
Working on any of the appointed Sabbaths (there is more than just the weekly Sabbath) is a sin.
Not fasting on the appointed days is a sin.
Eating the wrong kinds of food is a sin, there are lists of bad and good foods.
Supposed to wear the law on your hands and have a blue ribbon on your clothes.
Supposed to never shave off your beard, you can trim it, but never shave it all off.
There's all kinds of rules like that, that we likely break.

And so the good news is what Jesus preached, and that all we have to do is follow Him.
Just listen to what He said to do, and He summarized His preaching in one sentence.

That's really good news to a Jewish audience, a people trying to keep all 600 some odd laws.

And it is good news for anyone desiring to please God.

What Jesus preached is the good news. [Luke 4:16-21, 2 Thess 1:8]

We should never sin willfully against His simple teachings, that is the base aim,
and by His Spirit we are definitely empowered to that end;
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self control.

Do we have to sin? Tough question. I would say if your going out and sinning intentionally, with pre meditation, then you have a problem. The Bible has a lot to say about unrepentant sin, and if your intentionally sinning, then it's unrepentant.

But, if your going through your day and someone cuts you off in traffic and out goes the bird out of reflex...well, it's still sin as it's not loving, and you should still try and make it right (ask God for forgiveness, if possible apologize to the party wronged etc) but it wasn't pre meditated. It was our human nature that takes over.

So do we have to sin? We shouldn't sin. Ever.

Do we sin? Can we legitimately live in this planet without sinning? That's an entirely different question.

All of us have sinned before we trusted in Jesus. So, all of us need how Jesus on the cross died for our sins.

Also, Abdull, that is not the only reason why Jesus shed His blood and died for us.

Jesus went to Calvary in order to bring us to God, to reconcile us with our Father, to get us adopted to become God's children, and to get us started in all the good of the New Testament.

Jesus suffered and died on the cross in order to be our example of how we are to love and forgive >

"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)

Also, you can look at Ephesians 4:31-32 and Luke 23:34, which can feed us how to forgive like God through Jesus has forgiven us.

And Jesus as our High Priest has gone through experiences of this life so that now Jesus can feel what we are going through and help us with His grace which made Him able to please God and love while going through everything > Hebrews 4:15.

God bless you :)

Hi, No such thing as a little bit of sin. In for a pint in for a pound, and the price is death.

Presents a bit of a problem, eh?

It cannot be reconciled, - except by Jesus.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
