No signs were given. Jesus said its a evil generation that does seek after signs to wonder after rather than prophecy as it is written.

Natural unconverted mankind "no faith"of Christ .Christ called them no faith. . calling us little in a hope

God's faith as it is writen in the law and prophets the faith of Christ, He basically said things will be going on as from the beginning  . . wars earthquakes .then he will leave this earth on the last day like a thief in the night

Jesus said a wicked generation seeks a sign and no sign shall be given it except for the sign of Jonah.

The righteous are given many signs including the holy spirit which is the greatest sign of all.

Agreed. We can see the main players among the foretold End Time nations coming into prominence: Israel, Iran, Egypt, "the kings of the east," etc.

"At the time of the end, the King of the South will thrust at [the King of the North]..." Dan. 11:40 I believe that event will be the sign, for those who are aware and watching, that Christ's Parousia will occur within a short number of years.

It seems to have happened a lot in the first century.

Seems to be a lot of it in Israel during the last 3.5 years of the Israeli governments reign also.

Them rotten apples don't fall far from the tree.

Daniel 11:33

Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.

Luke 21:12

But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.

Daniel 7

Mathew 10:23

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Hi luigi,

Israel coming back as a nation, (1948) and being the generation that will not pass away till all those things the Lord said in Matt. 24 is fulfilled. (ie. trib, and His return to deliver them).

As for the Body of Christ we are coming corporately to the maturing of the whole counsel of God. (Eph. 4: 13)

Then the nations - the northern great army and others are gathering together and God will soon bring them down to the mountains of Israel where He will deal with them. (Ez. 38 & 39,  Joel 2)

I believe this is incorrect brother. The 70th week will not begin when the 1st seal is opened. The 70th week will begin when the prince confirms a covenant with many for one week.

Daniel 11

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Russia, China wars and rumor of wars. Empty grocery shelves, covid and other diseases.

I think there are signs of what is to come. When you see these things begin to come to pass, look up your redemption draws nigh.

Israel formed as a nation in 1948. The generation that sees this will not pass away until all these things happen. A generation of strengh is 80 years. 1948 plus 80 years is 2028.

Psalms 90

10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

The question is who flies away. Not the Church. The Church flies away before the seals are opened. The 144,000 are first fruits of those that fly away.

Not many will get this.......but that flying away event will occur at the coming of Jesus at the 6th seal (Matthew 24:29-31), before the wrath of God. There is an asteroid, Apophis, coming in 2029 which looks like the event of the 3rd trumpet of wrath. The Lord returns for Armageddon 1 year after wrath begins, which is the opening of the 7th seal. This would put Jesus feet on the Mount of Olives in 2030.

Nah.......just a bunch of coincidences that happen to line up. Right?

Ezekiel 38 and 39 occurs after the 1000 years.

Revelation 20

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

OK WilliamL, I agree on the data you provided on Daniel 11; but what I asked was what signs do we see today as those the Lord said would precede the data in Daniel 11? In other words: the beginning of sorrows events (Matthew 24:8; Mark 13:8), in the Olivet discourse in Mark 13, Luke 21, and Matthew 24? Hint: some of these beginning of sorrows events also correlate with data found in Revelation 7 and 8.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Hi Marilyn C,

Some of us (myself included), believe that true Israel are the faithful who are yet to be gathered.

The sorrows in verse 8,is a time of great tribulation.

Word: wdin

Pronounce: o-deen'

Strongs Number: G5604

Orig: akin to 3601; a pang or throe, especially of childbirth:--pain, sorrow, travail. G3601

Use: TDNT-9:667,1353 Noun Feminine

Heb Strong: H2256 H2256 H2342 H2427 H3205 H4856 H6735

  1. 1) the pain of childbirth, travail pain, birth pangs
    2) intolerable anguish, in reference to the dire calamities precede the advent of the Messiah

Before this time of anguish in verse 8,caused by the war of Armageddon in verse 7,the christians in Israel are imprisoned and killed.

The imprisonment and murder of the christians in Israel ,starts 3.5 years before the time of the end.

Daniel 11:33

Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.

The war in Mathew 24:7 is at the time of the end in Daniel 11:40.

Daniel 11:40

“At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood.

Luke's account that the persecution of the christians in Israel takes place before the war of Armageddon agrees with Daniels account of the same events.

Luke 21

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
