There is definitely an “anti-Christ” spirit or attitude that defines when an individual goes against the Word of God and / or the Testimony of Jesus. However, if you look in Daniel 7 and 8 you will clearly find the coming of the “little horn” out from the 4th kingdom beast (pagan Rome) who will go against God’s people, His saints, His church, His 10 commandments and he will speak against God Himself. This little horn will claim to be greater than others and claim equally with God. Now, who could this possibly be ? For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 2 Thess 2:3-4 I think people refer to this one guy as the antichrist. Beasts, kings, big horns, little horns can be confusing when we tack the "antichrist" name to all of it. God has specifically established there would be 4 kingdoms that cone out of the earth or the sea in Daniel. They are Babylon, Medes-Persia, Greece and pagan Rome. That is it… no other kingdoms will be found from 606 BC to His second coming other than these 4 that are identified in HIS PLAN OF SALVATION. He also has specifically identified 1 and only 1 person who will go against His people, His church, His saints, His laws and commandments and even speak pompous things against God Himself, AND claim equality with God … ALL of these characteristics are revealed in Daniel 7 as “the little horn.” As far as the term “anti-Christ” is used / found in the Scriptures, I believe there are only 4 verses (Written by John only), and he does NOT use it to speak of a particular person but to refer to anyone that speaks or is against God. That could mean me, you or anyone — does not mean a Jew, a Gentile, a Muslim, a unique evil one that can s supposed to arrive at the end times…. Further, in Daniel 7, God reveals the 4th beast kingdom (can only refer to the 4th beast kingdom He called out of the earth or sea) is pagan Rome will be slain and His body is destroyed. But, at the beginning of chapter 7, we find the 10 horns and the little horn coming out of this same 4th beast kingdom— BEFORE IT IS SLAIN AND ITS BODY IS DESTROYED. Meaning, BOTH of these 2 entities MUST have been or come into existence BEFORE the demise of pagan Rome (467 AD). So, there is no “anti-Christ” figure AND this evil one (chapter 11) is the little horn of Daniel 7 and 8 is the papacy. He fits ALL 10 or so of the characteristics in Daniel 7 especially the timing of his arrival AND that he will continue until he is destroyed without human hands. Daniel establishes the 4 and only 4 kingdoms in God’s plan of salvation (not in man’s history books), and we do not find the EU, China, Turkey, USA, Islam, or any other physical nation / kingdom other than these 4— so we will not or should not expect to see them in Revelation. ALL of Daniel is found within these 4 kingdoms and ALMOST ALL of Daniel is found within the 4th kingdom that comes out of the earth or sea (pagan Rome). ALMOST ALL of Daniel is found WITHIN the 70 weeks of years prophecy which ends 3.5 years after the Cross. The entire book of Daniel is concerned with His plan of restoration and salvation- first for the Jews after their destruction by the Babylonians, and then in a larger picture for ALL Jews and Gentiles who place their faith in Jesus. He purposely does NOT speak of different nations, peoples, countries or other labels that we place on one another (Muslims, Catholics, Protestants, etc.). The Muslims are told to attack the armies of Dajall after the three year drought.They are instructed in the Hadith to kill all the Jews. Rome doesn't tell the Muslims to attack Israel.Mohamed already has.They are waiting for the signs they are given in the Hadith. They attack Israel and kill the two witnesses after a three year drought.One of the signs they are given.The Hadith teaches the Muslims that the whole world will convert to islam after this war but the bible shows all those Muslims being consumed .
