Ezekiel 37:1-14 is indeed about actual resurrection.
Ezekiel 37 contains the promise of resurrection given to the fathers that Paul speaks about in Acts,
there is no other such promise given in the Bible,
thereby it can be the only passage Paul is referring to:

Ĺuke 1:54-55, 54remembering to be merciful
55 to Abraham and his descendants forever,
just as he promised our ancestors.”

Luke 1: 68-83. 68“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because he has come to his people and redeemed them.
69 He has raised up a horn[c] of salvation for us
in the house of his servant David
70 (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),
71 salvation from our enemies
and from the hand of all who hate us—
72 to show mercy to our ancestors
and to remember his holy covenant,
73     the oath he swore to our father Abraham:

   Genesis 22:18
22. and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”

The promise includes not only the living descendants of Abraham but it includes their ansestors.

Abraham knew of that say and rejoice, this is what Jesus said before he died. Abraham knew that the promise one from God will descend to where they were waiting for them and Abraham was waiting for that day and he understood that will happen when the promise one from God will descend to them. Abraham understood that the promise one from God had to died first this was the only way to descend to where they were. John the Baptist who was going before the Christ of God and had identified him was gathered to Abraham before Jesus Christ descended to them after his death to let them know that the promise Christ of God soon is coming to them. And the scripture says that they were gathered to to the Heavenly Father because that's where Jesus went after his resurrection. And God gave him the Heavens for his Inheritance for him and everyone who believed in him. The promise to Abraham was that the time will come went he will be Ascended to the Heavenly Father, he and all who were with him.

Paul said that the first fruits Abraham and all who were with him Jesus took them to Heaven with him and presented them to the Heavenly Father.

But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees
and the other Pharisees,
he cried out in the council,
"Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee: concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead am I called in question." Because the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection neither angel nor spirit, but the Pharisees confess both.

Acts 23:6-8

I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise mode of God unto our fathers

Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you that God should raise the dead?

Acts 26:5-8

When the Pharisees read passages such as Ezekiel 37:1-14 they thought it was about actual resurrection, the Sadducees did not.
And so we see Paul referring to:
"Oh my people, I will open up your graves and bring you up
out of your graves"
  Ezekiel 37:12
as a promise made of God to the fathers concerning actual resurrection. Because there is no other such resurrection promise to the nation directly from God.

Why did Paul believe so strongly that it is about actual resurrection?! Because Christ actually died and actually rose from the dead! The Pharisees were right, resurrection is what is going to happen.

Ezekiel 37 through 39 follows the same outline given in Revelation.

Ezekiel 37:1-14 = Resurrections
Ezekiel 37:15-28 = Reign
Ezekiel 38 and 39 = Gog and Magog

Revelation 20:4-5 = Resurrections
Revelation 20:5-7 = Reign
Revelation 20:7-10 = Gog and Magog

The texts themselves clearly give the above same outline,
showing that they are giving the same prophecy in different ways.

"I [Gog and Magog] will go to them that are at rest,
that dwell securely, all of them dwelling
without walls, and having neither bars nor gates
"

Ezekiel 38:11

That extremely clearly does not describe the Israel of our times,
they are not at rest, they dwell with walls, and with bars and gates and armed solders guarding their settlements,
and constant terror and war all the time.

Gog and Magog, the nations of the world [Ezekiel 38:1,5-6]
come up against the camp of the millennium saints that is in Jerusalem.

And you shall come up against my people Israel,
as a cloud to cover the land: it shall be in the latter days

Ezekiel 38:16

they went up on the breath of the earth
and surrounded the camp of the saints

Revelation 20:9

And I will bring judgement to him,
with pestilence and with bloodshed
and I will rain upon him, and upon his troops,
and upon the many peoples that are with him,
an overflowing rain, and great hailstones,
fire, and brimstone.

Ezekiel 38:22

I will send a fire on Magog,
and among them that dwell securely in the islands

Ezekiel 39:6

and a fire came down from God out of the sky
and devoured them

Revelation 20:9

Please explain from scripture how you come to that conclusion.

Your going to simply infer that "graves" does not mean "graves",
right?

Firstly, the Valley of Dry Bones Prophecy is not the same Prophecy as the Two Sticks Prophecy, just because its in the same "chapter" means nothing, there was no chapters, nor verses, the English translators added them in.

The Valley of Dry Bones is about the end times.

And your going to want to say that 37:22 has been fulfilled,
but what does the verse say?
"neither shall they be divided into two nations any more at all"

The Two Sticks prophecy has a double meaning, its about Israel back 2700 years ago being brought back together as one nation, as God intended, but its also about Jesus ruling on David's throne at a future point in time for hos 1000 year reign as we now understand it.

Verse 23 is about the end times, but also, but God was also speaking about how Israel, whilst in Judea, would not be as evil as the Norther Kingdoms had been, but Gid had to purify them somewhat before Jesus' birth, so He allowed the wicked Northern Kingdoms to be toted off, and placed Israel  in bondage in Babylon in order t correct they practices, but of course the full prophecy is about the end times, but the Two Stick Prophecy STARTS when the 10 Northern tribes were toted off, they became ONE NATTION, as God intended all along.

Today the place is divided, there are two major governing bodies,
a Palestinian authority and an Israeli authority.
And also there has been a third, the Gaza authority,
in times past (see Joshua 22 and my avatar) all of these territories
and more were Israel as one nation.

The truth is backed by loads of scripture,
please take some time to carefully read it all.

Israel has one Prime Minister. Those living in Palestine are not Jews for the most part. You can't go by land, after all the were Israel way back right? And God promised them the land from the Euphrates to a river in Egypt, so by your "logic" Israel never even existed. Of course Israel is one nation now and has been since Assyria toted of the Northern Kingdom Tribes.

The beast that ascends from the abyss at the 5th trumpet is Rome. (1929)

The statue of Dan 2 shows that Rome is the main nation that rules over the children of Israel after 63 BC until Jerusalem was restored in 1967.

The 10 toes are 10 kings, but are still the iron that rules over the children of Israel.

In Dan 7 the horns are shown as an extension of the 4th beast which is also Rome.

And once Jerusalem was restored, there are no other nations shown to rule over the children of Israel. The stone strikes.

It's beyond me how Rome can be depicted in Daniel 2 or 7. We see things differently.

If you do not mind, what is telling you just who is the 4th kingdom of Daniel 2,7 and 8?  Thanks, Charlie

A study of the words in the text.

That is not going to work... would you accept that kind of answer from others?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
